Runes of Magic US / AU

There is simply nothing to address when there is no new information available. Crying for it every day doesnt make it go faster.

You are waiting for more information about the mergers to be made public or the mergers itself - yeah, no <beep>. Guess what? So are we, we play the game too.

Sorry for the almost expletive, but some people in this thread are still acting like noone knows about this or has not realized it.
We're not stupid and it's not hard to see that you would like either a) more information or b) simply the mergers to happen, so in case that was still unclear to someone, you can read it again in plain text from me that we know. it does not change the fact that we can not make up information out of thin air. When there is none, there won't be anything posted. It's that simple.

In any case, the last piece of information by a CM about the whole thing came down to basically the same I'm telling you with this long post, just in way shorter:

The amount of information comes down to:
First that diamond issue has to be sorted and working. It requires quite some changes in the database structure and is a lot of work.
THEN merges will happen. If the diamond stuff works faster then expected, merges can happen earlier. The timeframe given was a prediction, it can go slighly faster or take longer if problems arise (quite logical, isn't it?).

There are more reasons behind that are not entirely obvious to players as to why this is quite important to do FIRST as in before the other merges, as the issue came up after the AU merge, but unfortunately I can not go into the details.

But after asking exactly why this is so important I got an answer for it and my reaction was, quite frankly, "OH crap! Yeah, this really needs to be done then before the merge" - And it is of the kind of information that is certainly not meant to be public, so, please don't come expecting that instead of me a CM comes out and tells the juicy details of exactly that. Not that I can stop you from doing so, it's unlikely that this will be revealed. Maybe once it's done and working fine, but I wouldn't count on it.

"QQ I don't believe you the mergers will never happen anyway"
"AU already has been merged though..."
"But you didnt give us a concrete date and even If I wouldnt believe you anyway"

Quite frankly, this sums up a lot of reactions in this thread - to the point that I'm questioning myself for writing this reply in the first place, because it will just lead to more QQ anyway which you would have done either way until the mergers finally happen.

So, again:
If there is actual new information available to be posted, it will. If not, not. Merges will happen once the other issue is done. It was announced when this is expected to be done, or at least that the prediction is that it will take at least as long as the general timeframe given earlier. Nothing new that can be announced to the public has happened since then (for nitpickers: please note the difference between "nothing that can be publicly announced" and "nothing" ...) , as the workings on that are naturally INTERNAL. Once that changes, there wll be news.
