Things to do before merging of the servers

Ok here is a few things i have told guildies and Reni to do before the upcoming merge, please put any good information you think would be relevant to this.

Screenshot :

Level of each class on your characters/their full XP/TP on each class of your character/level of each skills/item set skills
All your gear on all gear slots on each character
Your house/house crafting tools/house energy/house keepers and house type
All items in your chests/backpack/house bank and item backpack
All your pets/levels/skills of pets/talent and XP points they have ( pet crafting level also)
All your legendary/vanity or ruby pets
All you crafting levels/planting etc/recipes
All your castles/furniture/bank spaces/resources/level of guild/members in guild ( as some names will change

)
All your weapon skills/gold/diamonds/rubies/mementos/P-shells/Proof of myth/honor points etc on each character
All titles you have acquired throughout the years
Friends list/nemesis list/blacklist
Also if you have friends that have access to your house chests and items, it would be wise to remove them when the merge comes to be, a lot of players will have to rename their characters and if they get in your house, they could loot it ;-(

Having all these saved will give you proof of items/stuff you had and make it easier for the GM team to help us retrieve them in case of a loss. I for one knows the pain of this process, having so many alts and accounts, but better be safe than sorry.

If there is anything i have missed please post it and i will add to my list, tyvm.

Certainly steps like taking inventory of one's critical stuff should be done ahead of time in order to provide support evidence on what needs to be restored should something go wrong.

However, I am taking it the approach of...they mess this server merger up where I lose something critical I know I had before...I'm done playing this game. I don't even want to deal with the process of trying to get it recovered. I was not one of those that really wanted a server merger to begin with, so for me to lose anything critical as part of this process...it will just be the 'last straw that broke the camel's back.'

For those that do want to go through this inventory hassle, it might be helpful for them to know at what point it should be done (ahead of time) as changes to their character happens every day.

M (100), P (100), W (100), K (100), S (100), R (100) --> order of previously being active
Reni Mithras Aeterna Server (6/27/2017 - Mainly RETIRED,Came back temporarily to get more cards ).
06/07/2011 (ch. 3) - Group completed RT diamond mode with me as M/K!

Yeah I'm not gonna screen cap my stuff every day, I'd rather just do it the day before the merge if possible. Hopefully they will give us ample warning beforehand that it is happening.

My favorite method of taking inventory is to start playclaw (or fraps etc), then mouse over everything I have, it's a whole lot faster than screen shots.

With all my accounts and alts I'm not going to bother screenshotting everything. Instead, for those who have alot of items laying about across many toons like myself i recommend video recording your stuff. Just flip on the camera and slowly begin mousing over every item or point to important numbers like crafting level, gold, etc.

I know some people are unable to do this because their computer cannot handle recording or they dont wanna buy a program. If you're one of these people, i recommend downloading xfire. Its basically a program that functions like steam for all your games PLUS it contains a light recording feature that wont super lag you like fraps. I personally used it many years ago when i played RoM on my old laptop (2.1ghz triple core, 4gb of ram, and an integrated low end video card chipset) Not advertising or anything, just offering up some suggestion for those that dont wanna take a thousand screenshots.

I think a bigger issue with recording, the a great idea for some, is getting that video into the ticket system can sometimes be tough with upload speeds or size limits :p

The video could always be uploaded to Youtube & set to private so that only those with the link can view it.

However, there are many solutions for simply extracting frames/images from a video. I prefer "Media Player Classic" myself.

Of course, we'll all be hoping & praying & sacrificing virgins that none of this will be necessary. :thumbsup:

Upcoming merge of the servers suggestions

This is to let people know, old and new players, screenshot all your stuff. I am always positive and optimistic but Murphy's law is there for a reason

Toons level, class list, equipement swap slots,
Skill levels, weapon skills levels, crafting skill levels
Currency list, Item shop backpack
Mount list
Pet and levels/type, vanity pets,legendary pets etc
Backpack/bank/equipement slots
Housemaids, their skill levels and items on them
House chests, house ENERGY, house furniture, house style
All items IN YOUR house chests
Arcane transmutor charges
Total TP window for all classes
Magic Wardrobe
Titles, title system
All macros (for your own sake copy and past them somewhere...)
Cards (another reason video is the way to go lol)
Item-set skills for each class
Relationship buffs and Friends list
Empty mailboxes and AH items from them

Guild leaders:
Screenshot bank slots, items in it
Level of guild
Level of all buildings
Guild ressources list
Guildies names list
Guild furniture

Better be safe than sorry and will help in the future if you ever lose anything :beer:

I think it would make it easier for support to help you out.

I am gonna be at it for a week for sure with the amounts of stuff i have and alts lol but i feel your pain already.

P.S feel free to add if i missed stuff, tyvm and crossing fingers all goes well and we do not need these things.
