Guide to Yellow Tiering Weapons (Banana Stone)

Since I started playing this game, I kept seeing people with weapons that were tiered up to 7 - 10 with Tier I Yellow Stats on them.

Since there are no guides on how to effectively do this and people keep asking me how I actually did it.

I will be going over the process, it doesn't take long.

There are two types of Banana Stones:

Yellow I & Yellow II. We will only go through Yellow I stats as they are the easiest to do.

In order to effectively understand how it works. A Yellow I & Green I stat share the same value when they are on a stone (or item).

So in order to maintain the Yellow I stat, you must always keep that stone/stat/item in the Middle Slot in the Transmutor (The Transmutor assigns each slot a priority Middle = #1, Top Right = #2, Top Left = #3 - Only ones that matter in this case)

The first type of Banana Stones is using Yellow I stats.

The process is simple:

1) Collect 6 different Yellow I stats. (Make sure at least 5 of them are clean)
2) Get 6 fusion stones with stats that are above II.
3) Place each Yellow I stat on each Fusion Stone with a II+ stat.
4) Merge them together and you will come out with 2 Mana Stone Tier 2.
5) Use the same type of fusion stones (II+) to get to Tier 4.
6) Always keep this stone (with 6 Yellow I stats) in the Middle as you tier up higher to T8 -> T10.

The best way to get Fusion Stones with stats above II+ is to do the Dalanis Events (10 Pearls = 2 Fusion Stones) or the Public Events in Weeping Coast, Volcano.

Just a re-cap.

Item with Yellow I Stat + Fusion Stone with II+ Stat on it in Middle Slot of the Transmutor.

6 Mana Stone Tier 1 with a Yellow I stat on it.

If you used 5 clean + 1 dirty Yellow I stat (dirty means it has a green I stat on it), you will need to make sure the Yellow I stat is not in the Middle or Top Right Slot.

Quoted

Names and List of Yellow I stats:-

MP/Mdef: (Savant I)
Combat Robe - Dropped by Shadow Newt

Stam/HP: (Seclusion I)
Sentry's Chaincoat - Dropped by Bubsitan, Cave Rock Scorpion, Wolf

Dex/MP: (Speed I)
Diter's Snow Coat - Dropped by Young Bear

Pdef/Mdef: (Resilience I)
Military Shield - Dropped by Beetle, Northern Plunderer (confirm?)

Pdef/Wis: (Soul I)
Pioneer Trousers - Dropped by Fungus
Kobold Cane - Dropped by Anglo

Dex/HP: (Observance I)
Kobold Harvester - Dropped by Anglo
Blizzard Bow - Dropped by Bubsitan, Wolf Cub

Dex/Mdef: (Agility I)
Nail Gun - Dropped by Kobold Miner

Stam/PA: (Oppression I)
Hammer of the Mother's Instructions - Dropped by Wilt-Leaf Bat

Stam/Dex: (Force I)
Vender's Lost Sword - Dropped by Newt
The second method is to do the exact same thing but to do it with Yellow II stats (Very very painfully long.)

Fusion Stones with only IV stats can be used in this case. Yellow II stats can be found everywhere in Logar / Silverspring. Many different stats and has a lot more potential for "WOW-factor" when you look at it.

tl;dr

Banana Stones are pretty cool. It's something not many people are willing to do (or know how to do). The reason why I made this guide was to encourage people to go the extra mile just to make your weapons look less boring.

I have heard of some people saying there were other Yellow I stats in the Coast of Opportunity that dropped in the lower-level areas there but have not seen any proof. If you have seen an item or stat from that area, please let me know.

Thanks for this guide! I think yellow stats really make a weapon look l33t, even though the actual benefit is minuscule. I do a lot of Dalanis events, and so do others in guild, so I should be able to collect plenty of Fusion stones.

Another way to do it is to keep the Yellow I stats above all the other Green II stats, make the tier 1 or 2 mana stones, and put those onto your weapon. You put them on 3 at a time, making sure all the yellows are at the top of the list (ex: Savant I, Force I, Soul I, Wisdom II, Stamina II, Dexterity II in that order) and then put the other three yellow stats on the weapon. Then you make tier stones normally and put them onto the weapon as well, making sure that the yellows are still there.
If that didn't make any sense to you (i'm tired and typing..), you can also Youtube "Yellows 101" or something similar to that. It should be by Vinz (araignervince) and explain it better than I can at the moment.

Nice addition. Simply putting the stats on the weapon first should save a few charges over tiering them on a mana stone.

I also scanned runesdatabase, and found some of the same yellow stats that drop in Silverspring also drop in CoO. I did not see any new stats or items though.

Yes that is true,

However the database isn't always accurate.

@Sabrione, it's all about preference when it comes to down placing the banana stones on the weapon instead of the tier stones.
