Guild Castle upgrades

Ragnarok on reni just upgraded the walls and I was wondering what another wall upgrade gave and also what the castle upgrade did. Upgrading the walls 1 time gave a new cool look and 4 extra building spots outside the castle, and I think it increases the gates hp and def.

I was wondering if Frogster America guild could upgrade their castle and upgrade their walls 2 levels so we could see what it looked like. Was suprised they hadnt done any upgrades.

Aslo was wondering if Frogster could inquire about possibly giving the buff towers a % buff for pa pd ect. From what I read the fixed increase is almost pointless for end game fully geared players even at max upgrade.

Probably should post this in the general forum. But you're right. A 1K hit point buff is pretty much worthless to someone with 100K+ hp unbufffed.

Grats on the upgrade :) and yea it woud be great to know what and how upgrades look before actually purchaing it, since it costs an arm and.. the whole body.

agreed, alot of the buffs from buildings are pretty outdated and need a once over.

This is the highest level. I don't know how many levels there are.
Judging by the picture link, it says "Level 3".
But I'm not sure if the original castle is considered level 1, then 2, then 3, or if once you upgrade, you go to level 1.

request for the frogsteramerica guild

Would you be able to upgrade your walls and main building on the different servers, maybe level 2 on one Level 3 on another ect so we could possibly go to the castles and see what the upgrade look like?

i watched the video you posted, looks like you get 2 extra building spots for upgraded main building, looked like there were 2 building spots that appeared as gates on each side of the main gate, he highlighted one that said "diablo" not sure but think that means stables. And you do get 4 extra buildings by leveling the walls outside the castle, didnt see any extra for what appeared to be higher than the 1st upgraded walls.

Is it just me, or are the walls even shorter? I am refering to the lower walkways around the gates.

The final upgraded look sweet! but the cost is just insane >.>

Though at level 12 guild with 190 active players doing the quest each day you can get the rubies in 3 months for the first upgraded... WTB 190 active players COD!

Improved gates

Found out today that even with improved gates a couple rogues can simply sneak up to it and have it down in seconds. We were working on the enemeys gates when lo and behold we heard from a guildy that rouges had managed to sneak by us and tear the gates down in seconds. Not sure why this is so easy to do. Yes it was a bit of a let down to see even upgraded walls are not much more effective than a treachery for end gamers.

I have been noticing this is a strategy guilds are starting to use more often, run to one side and tear down the gates in the first few minutes, because with the proper players it takes seconds not minutes and can be acomplished so quickly guilds have little to no time to respond, dont even need a hearld anymore. The gates do look nice and the extra building spots are very nice also, but if you think upgraded walls will help slow players down, it seems the buildings are no match for the gear now.

On a side note it was intresting to see that although they could tear them down they were not allowed to be healed because of line of site, I do know this is being worked on.

You can still see the buildings outside of the castle walls in siege war. You would place buildings that are not SW important outside while keeping all of your processing factories etc. protected within the castle walls.

When you find a level 12 guild with 190 active players, all 190 of which are willing to religiously do the guild daily day in/day out... let me know :)

For that matter, find one with 40 active people who're capable of doing such a feat, and let me know :) :)

Problem being, people who're committed to doing stuff in this game arnt often the "team players" and are more interested in lining their own pockets than making their guild's home a smooth lookin' place.

Sad fact of the matter is, the requirements as they currently are will take most guilds years, if not decades to achieve.

Yep just sad to see you spend 140K rubies and a ton of guild runes to upgrade the walls and they take them down without any problems. Maybe ROM should update buildings, walls, recipes in function that there is level 65 and above players. They are just leaving things as they are without taking into account the upgrade to players.

We tought of upgrading our walls, but when we saw that we could take down their UPGRADED WALLS as fast as before, why would we spend those ressources.

I'm still waiting on Runewaker to come back to me about my e-mails, maybe i'll get a real answer on this.

Yep thats about it ... We got the wall upgrade and was well worth the rubies and mats :rolleyes:
Save your self some rubies and stick with the old walls till RW update them to keep up with the players.

Yup, our castle threw our 6 buff III-IV towers outside the walls but everything else is inside.
