Re SaitoHajime,

I could test the ribbon exchange to see if that still works if you send some ribbons my way. ;)
As for which quests can drop the Pumpkin Pie, I defer to post #1 in this thread.

I already know that the pies do not give out ribbons.
It was just not entirely clear to me if they really are the only source for ribbons in the whole event because someone reported otherwise, but convieniently pointed to the now-removed prankster npc for it, which is quite hard to test then ;-)
But since they are the only source of ribbons, the ribbon exchange part of the event does not work which makes the according title unavailable. Also noted and already added.

According to the guide, Ms Pumpkin is supposed to appear every 2 hours starting from 13:00, which should be 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 7pm, 9pm, etc. I logged on at the beginning of the hour during 5,7,9 pm and Ms. Pumpkin never showed up, neither did any banner saying Ms. Pumpkin needs help. I also logged on at the beginning of the hours in between, and still no Ms. Pumpkin.

Mr.Pumpkin works though, I see his banner quite often announcing his arrival to Govinda. The problem is, you can't do his quest until you finish Ms.Pumpkin's quest.

Edit: Ms. Pumpkin showed up at 4:11 today. Assuming time used in guide is not PST, she is 11 minutes late. Unless this event is supposed to be random...

Also, Halloween Malatina does not give any pumpkin coins.

Mr and Ms pumpkin seem to only show up after 3 pm est. They don't show up before that. I don't know if this was by design. I don't know if I would call this a bug or what, but they also don't always show up on the hour, nor stay for the full hour, I have seen them disappear 10 minutes earlier and show up 10 min late.


I hope pumpkin prankster will come back, barely getting enough for 1 20 pt package a day, got lotsa candy saved up also. Please fix fast ;)

I saw Mr. Pumpkin show up at 11am PST, but Ms. Pumpkin is definitely showing up at the wrong time. So far, she's been 11 minutes late every single time that I saw her.
Her event only lasts for 15 minutes though, so that part should be working as intended.

I was able to complete both Pumpkin events (multiple servers) but there's a bug if you mess up at the end. Tasks are completed but you need to confirm at the end in the dialogue to get your reward. Closing the dialogue or walking far enough away to it to autoclose will still mark the event as completed but you won't get anything out of it ;) This is on both Pumpkins. (And reported)

As a minor bug, the newer NPCs in Lower City West ignore yer when yer attempts ter frighten em. They jus flat out no respond, like the older NPCs. Maybers the fortification vitamins they done been fed could be removered from their diet. (or else they no believeth in ghosts/supernatural, which be difficult ter understand since they do live in a fantasy world.)

i noticed this as well...
it really made no difference to me because i have been doing this since before those npc's were introduced, and can do it w/o even going by them...but for newer players this would probably be a point of confusion...

So since we had maintenance is the Pumpkin Prankster we turn our candy into re enabled now?

I noticed the pumpkin prankster event was working but I never saw the Big Pumpkin Prankster show up. I see that Saito also crossed out in his post stating that it was disabled so thought this might mean he was re-enabled?

Yea I could not find him either, I really hope they reactivate this NPC I really do not need the P pots( candy,pumpkin pie ) got plenty already, would like to clear the candy/food out in the exchange with this guy, figure a few 100 pieces might grant me a perma mount maybe ? you know the broom mount ( no longer available again since sale ended so this be one of the only ways to get it,that and exchanging the 20 pumpkin coins right which might have about 3 to 4 shots this way )

So Saito please let your team know that the NPC Pumpkin Prankster that we do the exchange of candy/foods with is not making an appearance.

Yea I already read it, maybe you should read what and why I asked if it was operable again, You disabled the pumpkin prankster had maintenance and the Pumpkin Pranksters were showing up again,so how without any announcement about it are we suppose to know if you got the "FIX" that you said you were working on, Saito states it is disbaled no prankster event/daily then you do a patch and the prankster event/daily is showing up again. So would lead one to believe that maybe you all did figure it out and get it working again.

Sorry my bad for thinking you might have got something working.

The Pumpkin Prankster event and the Pumpkin Prankster NPC that was disabled are 2 entirely separate parts of the event.

That you cannot obtain titles from events that you cannot complete is only logical but not an additional bug.

The pumpkin pranksters were reported to also give ribbons. Pumpkin pie does not. The pumpkin prankster NPC, at least the one who exchanges items for candies, is currently disabled.

Now, are these the only sources for ribbons so there is no ribbon exchange possible at all? [Due to no one being able to obtain ribbons] - Then I'd just have to check if the exchange is working technically by getting some ribbons as GM. Or are there any ribbons obtainable elsewhere, and if so, does ribbon exchange as part of the festival work, just with a lower volume of exchanges due to a shortage of ribbons? Pie IS the only source. "Pumpkin Eater" title unavailable due to that. noted.

It's a matter of detailed reporting bascially.

Mica's post was on Nov 5th which was several days before your maintenance.

there is a bug fixes post by Mika, but I have a few questions with it:

1) so Mr and Mrs pumpkin will give pumpkin coins multiple times a day ?!?!?! :)

2) still no prankster NPC :(

3) when ? next patch, special mait?

4) random question, Belathis easy have to correct mobs or is that still a problem? Never saw it addressed in patch notes
