What he means is don't level that particular housekeeper's Affinity past 79. Each skill is capped at your housekeeper's Affinity level. So with 79 Affinity, the maximum level that housekeeper can achieve in cooking is 79, thus making sure you can always get MA food until RW fixes it (lol it's gotta be a bug right?).

hey quick question on fatigue... does the maid need to be recalled in order for it to rest? I loged off for an hour and her fatigue didnt move (95%) logged on and played for an hour, still 95%. All of this was done with her staying in the house. any tips?

Fatigue is *supposed* to drop by 5 every hour. Just like house bonus XP/TP the check is performed at the end of every hour, and changes registered at XX:01 am/pm regardless of how long ago you actually talked to them, or how much time you've spent in your home. Simple hourly checks.

Can anyone confirm what the guide says about the levels for different foods? It says that it doesn't move up to Unimaginable Salads from Spicy Meatsauce Burritos until level 86, but the guide has been wrong on some other things. My cooking is at like 63 and I don't want to lvl it all the way up to 80 if she's not gonna make anything better than what she is now. Anyway if anyone can tell me for sure that would be awesome, thanks.

I've been waiting for more than hour and still there's just one maid for hire and definitely not the one I want. Is this reset time incorrect? or do all maids have to be bought in order for it to reset?

If there's only 1 left, it almost certainly means the respawn timer is broken and you'll have to wait until the next time the server goes down (for patch or maintenance or w/e) before they'll start repopping every hour or so. (Personally, I'm unconvinced that there actually is a limited pool from which other players are also hiring them, as the rate at which they become hired has always seemed too regular. I rather suspect everybody has their own random selection that slowly goes "hired".)

FYI, "dude" is gender neutral. Reference the Oxford English Dictionary... not a cheesy online one.

I have a question on housemaid: Why would you recall it? I've never recalled mine and don't understand why you would...

When you do, is there something that happens? gets his energy back faster or loose development points? On the other hand, is there a plus side (or negative effect) of not recalling it?

There was a bug earlier on where housekeepers (not housemaids, grrrr) would lose their training. People weren't sure what caused it, but no recalling might have been one factor.

And then I see a thread where a person was not getting level-appropriate food till he recalled and resummoned.

In other words, AFAIK, there are potential pluses to recalling and no minuses.

dunno when you get this potion but high lvl Inventive housekeeper also makes Scarlet Love which increase def +5% for 10 mins. Pungent Vileness starts dropping at 80 not 81, I know coz my housekeeper that can only have a max of 80 for Inventive is able to make that.
