My expectation would be that either:
1. Their fatigue is supposed to decay to 0 over the course of a day (or a week, maybe, though I'd prefer a day, so 25 fatigue/15 fatigue would be 4 items(buffs)/day(week) or 6 chats/day(week))
2. There is something you have to buy/give them to reduce their fatigue.
3. Combination of the above, in which case #2 is probably purchased via diamonds/rubies/Phirius coins.

I suspect the 30/60/90k & no fatigue increase was somehow the debug versions. Easier to get, & easier to raise for testing purposes.

Please reread the fatigue section; it is updated with what I found out.

Very good guide, and quite useful.

As for the Fatigue thing, and accepting it's likely a glitch, have you perhaps checked whether the maid might be sapping Energy from your House? I suppose the easiest way to check is to just ask if anyone who has Energy in their home is not having their maid lose fatigue properly or if someone who doesn't has a properly working maid.

Just for the record, in Siochain server the fatigue is bugged too (does not go down) (at least for all the ppl i chatted to, mainly in my guild), and the housekeepers cost 200k-400k-etc...
As this seems to differ from server to server, i thought it could help to port the details of mine since i haven't seen any post referring to Siochain i decided to post this.

oh i get it, this is another way for them to get money, it finally makes sense. you see theyre not responding to our cries because there is nothing wrong with the fatigue. in matter of fact the only way their fatigue can go down is by spending house energy which is bougth with diamonds, genious, i really felt like i was being spoiled, maybe some inside worker who opposed to charge for having a maid made all the bugs happen.

i was just guessing, you shouldnt take what i said seriously, but you have to admit that it would be a good way for them to make money

Considering we still don't know the designed expectations for this I just wanted to make sure to clear up any misconceptions with atleast my experiences in-game (LOL I could be the one bugged wouldn't surprize me in the least). I won't disagree that I could "see" a link between the new house maids and house energy considering atm they don't take a house slot, they don't take energy to have, they are basically FREE storage. WHICH to me is smelling alot like a bug, but I just don't know. :(

Another example of Runes of Magic jerking us around. I hate this. I spent time and effort to level 3 different housemaids, got them to max level in the areas I wanted, spent the gold to get them, next day I log in all of those levels were lost.

So not knowing that the fatigue has been 'added' today, I log in and chat with the housekeeper so i can level it up a bit. The housekeeper gets tired from talking.... Well shucks, I don't know what fracking planet Runes lives on but there's no damn way you PAY to have a housekeeper then have to chat them up and retrain them everyday to do the same shit they just did the day before. That's just complete and utter bs!

I'm beyond incensed here. I thought 'hey they've actually added something really awesome and helpful for the players to the game, and so far there's no diamond requirement for it', BULL. You guys at Frogster, Runewalker, and the rest of you collective pricks are jerking us around again with little or no compensation for this bs just so you can make an easy buck. It's getting really old and you're sure as hell pissing off your client base here. Way to go.

lol

Are you suggesting Icarii isn't a decent fellow and would ban someone for voicing their frustration / opinion about in-game bugs? Shame on you! Icarii is a great fellow and doesn't deserve to have such comments made about him.

Until you can successfully play Runes of Magic from level 1 - max level WITHOUT using ANY diamonds, don't bother calling Runes of Magic 'free'.

'Free' to Play is a myth when nearly all of the endgame content requires someone spending money to access these zones.

I think that Chapter IV is going to be a great renaissance for Runes of Magic and for Frogster. There are many things planned for 2011 and I think our players will be very happy with things that are coming this year.

Um no. I like Icarii, he's helped me out with a few things. The reason I'm looking for his ban hammer is your comment......

Hate to rain on parades and all that, but being able to rapidly increase their levels like that was pretty obviously a bug. If it was really supposed to be that easy to raise their levels then there would have been no point to the whole level thing. So, we've established that rapidly raising levels like that was an obvious bug. Now, what's the common term for taking advantage of an obvious bug? Yep, that's right. It's called exploiting. And what's the general penalty for exploiting in most MMORPG's? Yep, banning.

Now granted, as most exploits go this isn't that severe, and they seem to have at least prevented the exploit part of it pretty quickly, but for those few who somehow still have maxed keepers I wouldn't get too attached. If I was a betting man I'd place money there will be some sort of reset. (heh, which is one of the reason's I took all the outfits I bought for my maids off them, as I wouldn't want to lose them during said reset)

Well, the first day, maids were great, it was too good to be true so i expected them to change. BUT, my maid has been permanently fatigued 100% since the day they patched after the big patch ? All 4 of them have been fatigued and all i did was talk to them twice. They're now storage space, lol. Storage space for gold and no energy or house space used is great. After all, we did ask for more permanent storage space, and they even added it for in game gold instead of diamonds. Kudos Frogster. Hopefully when they fix the fatigue problems, maybe they can add the option to ask the maid for what you want, since they obviously want the amount you can get from the maids limited. Even if they don't, i'll still be happy with my trash talking storage box. :p
Just my two cents.

i believe that they made all of the maids temporarily fatigued so that they could try to fix it, i dont think that it was their intention to give player a huge advantage but more of small help, so thats why they fatigued them until they figure things out.
