I got and used the mage rt set skill earth collapse.

On normal mobs, it hits them for only 30k dmg per pillar (doesnt show up on scrut), on players it hit a 35k scout for 11k dmg per pillar. Use for this skill is very limited but i found somethin useful for it.

I solo madman in dod and i set up that skill when i can, and madman bein as fat as he is, hits every pillar when he runs into it, causin a good amount of dmg every min. Otherwise the only otha reason i would use this skill would b in sw when i know an invisible rogue is huntin me, with hopes he hits the pillar b4 attackin me.

On the bottom right of the screen you will see a "Gear", (it says Function) symbol. Click that and hit Item Set Skill. You will see the spells under the categories. :) Click one and hit Equip Skill. Drag it to your Action Bar and you are good to go.

Yawaka's Blessing is kinda pointless, itll stack nicely with the lekani set but by itself you dont really notice a difference. I knew it was gonna be like that, but i love the icon lol. Plus i love the animation and i love being like 1/8 people on server that has it :D
First Lekani Set on Reni
First Dual wield Thorns of Yawaka

I think that Chapter IV is going to be a great renaissance for Runes of Magic and for Frogster. There are many things planned for 2011 and I think our players will be very happy with things that are coming this year.

In hoping that the OP is still around to update the first post

Common Skills:
Energy Restore:
it has no duration, it is a 5 second channel.

Improved Crafting Speed:
Duration 1 Hour, cooldown 2 hours
reduces craft speed from 5 seconds to 3.125 seconds per craft. 37.5% reduction
currently broken to only reduce the first item of your queue.
I have made an addon that I will be releasing soon to fix this glitch by forcing the queue to stop and restart after each item if the buff is active.

Question about the puppet weapons. I have found a puppet hammer in the ah, but in the item's description it makes no mention of granting any addition bonuses as a set item, what's the deal? Is this the right piece or not? My best guess was that maybe it dropped on easy mode, and easy mode drops are not the actually items used to extract the set skill.

There are two puppet hammers

One is a puppet hammer and other is a puppet fist (hammer)
the 1h puppet hammer is the set skill item

The puppet fist is a 2h hammer and drops off first boss i believe.

both drop in normal WA but only one comes off the set and they have two different names, albeit they are close sounding.

Imagine that on a M/Wd with their +60% earth damage self buff (if it still works the same, I haven't touched my M/Wd in ages), that's 48k per pillar, and on a 35k scout like what you said that is 17.6k damage. Not a bad spell at all for that class combo.

Stone Scale Blade (Fearless Cloth)
Level: 55
Cost: 100 MP
Cast: 2s Range: 250
- Causes 1200.0 Earth Damage.

this is such a stupid skill i cant believe i got it. on mage side of m/d or any m/? there is no earth dmg mod, so u get a 2 sec cast for gimp damage. mages are already gimped enough, this is like a slap in the ballz :/

Depends on what type of mage you are. M/Wd gets a self buff for 30 mins that gives +60% earth magic damage, sort of like the fire and wind damage passive skill that all mages get. With their "Earth Marking" 50/50 elite, this spell has a much higher chance of critting than normal due to the nature of EM's additional earth damage crit.

Quoted

Earth Collapse (Flower God)
Level: 60
Cost: 350 MP + 8% HP
Cast: 2s Cooldown: 60s
- Summons 5 nearby Rune Pillars, decreasing the damage dealt to multiple targets in the area by 3.0%. A target touching a pillar will be attacked by falling rocks, causing 1500.0 Earth Damage.

no one on my server has this set. sounds like another aoe-ish type skill but mobs have to touch your pole, hehe. but its earth damage with no earth dmg modifiers....Z .....3% decrease? please ...really again? on a 60k hit thats a 1800 dmg reduction, assuming it works. pffft

If we go by what zicoreborn00 says about his damage as a non-M/Wd, that's 48,000x5= 240,000 damage with M/Wd's [Earth Scepter] (+60% Earth Damage). That's a quarter of a million damage with a 2 second cast! Can you imagine if M/Wd's [Earth Marking] got a hold of that and crits were involved?

It seems the two earth set skills for Mages make Earth Magi more viable and fun rather than the usual Flame+Fire Ball spamming. Maybe that's what they were going for, more diversity among mage types. You have M/Ks with their insta-builds, and M/Ps with their Flame and Fireball mastery, etc and now Mages have one more fun magic type, Earth! When magic damage gets a work-over, this will be less like a "slap in the ballz" to most magi and more like "I'm glad mages aren't stuck being regurgitated cookie cutter scouts." Diversity is what makes mages fun in an age where single target DPS is ruled by poke-poke-stab classes.

Just think M/Wds, with a 10% (60 minute duration) faster casting pot (housekeeper pot) and a pet egg with +5% cast speed alone, you're throwing [Stone Scale Blade] out every 1.7 seconds with +60% earth damage modifier.

Have fun mages!

...If want to know anything about the OPness of scouts, it's Archer's Glory (stacking buffs). I don't even use this "hurricane leather" since in RT diamond you get 1 shot 100% guaranteed by any boss, if you get aggro, unless you're an extremely OP tank with over 120k+ hp.

Archer's Glory is one of the main reasons scouts are OP. Think of it - 8% more damage WITH a free stim? (20% attack speed) with a cooldown of only 3 minutes? Though stacking buffs is the main problem, this is one of the buffs.

Indeed, Archer's Glory from Goddess and Shatterstar from Scout's unicorn are what most scouts have equipped these days. You can only have two item-set skills at a time, and those two are most useful. In Ch4, a third item-set skill will be allowed, but the one that comes in the chapter looks promising enough not to let one of the current ones sneak into must-have.

Still, if you want to get hurricane and see if it something you want to use, here are the details on the set:

http://www.runesdatabase.com/itemset/610…ane-leather-set
-- Rustyx --- 92R / 92S / 92M on Reni (Guild KnightShift). Yes, running the new FOTM R/M, cause I am not elf enough to be WD/S.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

Level 67 Set Skills

Warden- Companion- Cost 300 MP
Within 900 seconds, your attacks have a chance to restore 2% + 600 hp to your pet, and reduces Recieved Physical and Magical damage by 10% for 20 seconds. After the effect has ended it cannot be triggered again for 20 seconds.

Warrior- Tourniquet
Restores 600 hp every second for 20 seconds. When the effect ends then 5% hp is immediately restored
Cooldown-90 seconds

Knight- Ragnar's Roar -Cost 150+5% MP
Emits a miserable roar causing 200% main hand dps + .10 STA damage to targets within a range of 80 and forces them to concentrate on you for 10 seconds.
Cooldown 2 minutes

Priest- Frost Death -Cost 250 + 1% MP
A chilling frost causes the target excruciating pain, inflicting 1000 points of Water Damage.
Cooldown 4 seconds

Scout- Focus Enhancement
Permanently reduces your skills required focus by 10%

Druid- Forest Worship
The energy of the forest immediately gives you 3 points of Nature's Power.
Cooldown 60 seconds.

Rogue- Sneak Shot
(No Description)

Mage-Sage
Permanently increases Magical Accuracy by 950
------------------------------------------------------------------
I can't seem to look up the Rogue's 67 skill. I will however comment on the Warrior's.
I don't mind that they gave us another healing ability, but I do wish they would have made it percent healing all of the way, 600 hp isn't much, but at least the 5% at the end will make this alot better than the previous one.

What is up with all the Mage magic accuracy skills? I literally cannot remember a single time my spells have actually missed. If I were to get Sage, that would make 3 spells that I would have that buff magic accuracy. I'm only level 34, but at higher levels, do you actually miss more, or are magic accuracy buffs useless like they've proved to be thus far?

Magical accuracy is different. Basically it is how much of your damage actually hits. Low accuracy could mean you hit but for little or you get a "resist" no damage even though it hit.
