If you are using an Orange rarity pet, chances are, unless you merge with another Orange level pet of a similar level, you aren't ever going to put a dent into your main stats (the 6/5/4 ones). First, I said that as a goal of merging to build stats, you'd have to use a higher growth pet - meaning if you start with a white pet you can use blues to help boost stats. And yes, the level multiplier and Aptitude multiplier are the largest stat boost for a pet. And as for saving money, I did check several lists and they were all lacking a large percentage of pets on their list. Compare my list to the wiki and see for yourself.

Fading Grudge: Lowers Master's aggro to lowest level for 10s, and additional aggro will not be created
Angel's Wings: When Master's health drops below 50%, Master will recover 2% health every 20 seconds for 20s

Ystra Snow Ferret:
Focused Beam: 50 light damage
Shining Vitality: Increases Master's Max Health by 10% for 90s
Angel's Wings: When Master's health drops below 50%, Master will recover 2% health every 20 seconds for 20s

Fire-Eyed Ferret:
Wave Bomb: 50 water damage
Guts: For 90s, Master's next attack gets +10% damage (not sure if every attack in that time gets bonus, or just the first one)

This pet is my active, the Guts buff lasts for 1 attack only and is consumed or 90 seconds, whichever comes first.

The Fungus I just got has 3 different skills:

Clash+10: (200% PDmg + 1s Stun)
Shining Vitality+9: (+10% MaxHP for 90s)
Divine Crystal+9: (10% heal when HP<50%)

So is there any way to add active abilities to pets? They have 5 slots, but I have not seen any pets with more than 3 default abilities. This seems to imply there is some way to learn additional abilities.

If this has already been asked/answered, I could not find it.

Been asked, but the answer was that nobody knows. I was hoping it was the pair merging, but that only adds a second reagent slot.

Sonic reaction is bugged.Got the pet a few days ago and everytime it casts that skill it wont let me use any physical attack.
Reported it they said they will forward it to the appropriate department(w/e that means, since I made a ticket to the bug reports section)
