* - The Wedding ring selected must be the one in your possession. Once you have "Spouse" status, you have to divorce, change out which ring you keep in your bag, and remarry to receive the other buff. The buffs do not stack on each other. You may only have one "Spouse" buff at a time. They overwrite each other.

** - The "Mark of Respect" item must be traded to the person you want as "Master" in the relationship. The "Apprentice" will be the person giving it to the "Master". The buffs do not stack on each other. You may only have one "Master"/"Apprentice" buff at a time. They overwrite each other.

NOTE: The buffs have a timed flag check. If you aren't near to your significant other, the buff wears off. If you're near two people with the same relationship, only different levels, whichever is cast most recently becomes your buff. This goes for Masters/Apprentices, Family, Lovers, and Close Friends.

NOTE: You may only have ONE relationship with any particular individual.
The limits of how many relationships you can have are as follows:

Total: 20 Maximum
Spouse: 1
Lovers: 5
Family: 20
Master: 20
Apprentice: 20
Close Friend: 20

Yes, that's a limit of 20 relationships total. You can have any combination so long as the numbers total up to 20 at the top end.

Now if relationships would stay, instead of certain individuals dropping every day, 50K a pop for each relationship, and it is gone before you can even level it at times

Nope u must divorce and remarry sadly, I found this out too. and in MY opinion the best place to level relationships is bugs in Orgin if u have enough people, otherwise I would say HOTO and stop at the rookeis. :)

LMAO you're welcome, ya me and my hubby got the wrong rings too but in the end cause I'm a worthless mage he decided it was best we stay as we were.

On the other hand, how much can u say I love you then getting remarried ;) Good Luck May the love gods bless you and let you level your relationship in no time. :)

That is why I moved it for you :D

keeps the guide forum clean of clutter, locking out new threads. Only a staff member can move them here.

Is it possible to have all the relationships with one person? or it's limited to one relationship per person?

Marriage - one per person - easily absolved
Total Relationships allowed per person -20 any combination, family, lover, mentor/teacher & marriage.
My advice, spread the good.;)Include as many as can, that you game with regularly, to maximize bonuses.

Princess Peach 1/1

To clarify what Honeykhist said, I will add the limits to the original post.

Actually I was wondering if I could be friends with character X and also be a family member, be married and a lover with that same character X

As additionally described in the original post, you can have one relationship per other person.

Person A can have Person B as ONLY (one) of the following:
-Spouse
-Lover
-Family
-Master
-Apprentice
-Close Friend

I'm probably just not paying attention (as usual) but where do you get the items to start the relationships?
