Well hopefully they have the marriages fixed. Hubby and I will try (AGAIN) to get married and see if it actually sticks this time instead of being gone the next time we log in =\

I'm probably just not paying attention (as usual) but where do you get the items to start the relationships?

Varanas Central Plaza is one such place.

What I would like to know, other than the 'TP to you spouse' feature, if there is any difference between the gold bought rings from the merchant in Varanas Central and the diamond bought rings from the CS.

Thank you for clarifying that for me.

I think the only difference in the rings is what they look like, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

The difference is that the ones in the Item Shop have a cooldown of 5 minutes. My guess, seeing as how I won't waste my money to buy them, is you also need Love Crystals to use the CS rings. I could be wrong and Love Crystals are completely useless, but as best I can figure that's how it works with those.

Is there a way to do the marriage so both you and your spouse can have the same ring ( buff) instead of one having the attk and other having def?

The items themselves say the other person has to have the complimentary ring: Wedding Ring of the Moonlight

Ceremony questions

Couple of questions? Can you take the full 36 raid party to the ceremony? Does the ceremony happen as soon as you exchange the rings? What is the ceremony like? I was thinking of making an event out of it. Sending out invitations, having a reception at the guild castle, still working on the honeymoon part though:D

Relationships unsticking?

I've known people who had to get married 3 times just for it to stick? Are we doing something wrong or is that a known bug? We've all wasted gold on this kind of thing; and complained but to no effect>?

Divorcing?

How do you end the marriage relationship? What if one of the spouses stops playing?

Just remove them from the relationships section on your friends list. It's a divorce. :)

I want to know this too. I've been married for a few weeks now and we've killed lots of stuff, but no apparent buffs. We both have our rings in our backpacks.

Anything else we're supposed to be doing to get this to work?

You have to level your relationship to 1 to get the buff.
The buff stays on as long as your around your partner.

To add onto what he said, you also both need to be in a party.

On another note, you also need to be in a party while you both kill stuff. And it must reward the both of you XP. You can't kill something and get credit towards the relationship if it doesn't.

Hubby and I are having the same problem. We have done the marriage ceremony 3 times and each time when we log out and back in we are no longer marries. We have the right rings. We did not invite anyone to the wedding. When it was over the relationship was listed. Then when we logged back in the next day it was gone. Is there something we are missing?

Anyone know if this got fixed so that the relationship levels you've earned stay? I'd like to start working on this, but I don't want to do it if it is broken. Thanks in advance!

Hello, still looking for a reply here. Has relationships been fixed? Will I keep whatever levels I earn on it?

What has worked for me after the failure, is:

1. Go to get married as usual
2. IF you brought other members with you into the chapel make sure that they are back in the party before you leave the chapel.
3. Leave the chapel
4. once everyone is out of the chapel then log off right away using the character selection log-off option, not just exiting the game, then log back in and try to get the relationship to level 1 at least.

This worked for me and the next day, even though my spouse was not logged on, I still had the relationship in my intact and the bar was still at level 1.

I will up date again in a week to let everyone know if it is still good

logging off to the char screen right after leaving the chapel worked for me.

yep, been over a week now and we are still married in game. So try it out and see if it works for you, also should point out that other guildies have also tried this and it worked for them as well :).

Should also point out that we tried this with other relationships besides getting married and it dropped them on relog. So we re-tried got the relationships to level 1 and then logged off and they stuck.

So.....
Marriage = Leave chapel log-off at char select right away

All other relationships = Get to level 1 then log-off

OK i got married and i cant seem to use the teleport function of the rings. I am supposed to be able to right-click the ring and be ported to where my wife is but it doesn't work. We are not at level 1 yet and yes the marriage ceremony stuck. Also when we did the ceremony we got married with both of us having both rings thinking they would stack. Of course afterwards we found out they don't. So i put my moonrise ring in my storage chest in my house and my wife took her sunrise ring and put it in her bank. Did we mess something up? Will the porting activate at level 1 along with the buff?
