just wanted to pop in an comment on the "Lone Ranger" title.

today was grinding on bears to level. (lvl 7 almost and i got this title.

which was odd, because i did not kill Beruza! i 1-2 shotted all bears ... i would have noticed the 16000hp bear baring down on me.

was not in a party ... and it was 630am so no 1 else was around.

either the title is bugged, or there is a rare chance that this title is obtained from regular bears.

Yesterday I was playing on my 19/20 W/M, and I killed beruda lize twice, once in a group and once out. I'm not sure what title I shoulda gotten but the more important thing is that I didn't get ANY title at all. Now my char is 20/20, so if I did it now, I'd technically get Bear Bully, when I woulda gotten Bear Hunter back when I killed the bear the first time. Neither of my pre-20/20 kills counted, so is the title itself bugged or something?

Is it possible to obtain MORE than one bear title for a single character? Eg if you kill him at lv 5, and then again at lv 30 do you get the bear hunter, and bear bully titles?

And also does it matter what level your secondary character is? for example if you are playing a 5/30 character, which title will you receive?

Is Bear Hunter broken? It shouldn't take four bears to get this. Probably going to be more at the rate I'm going.

I wanted to check that Byr, but if I can't get Bear Hunter, I can't check if you can get multiples. Probably can though.

EDIT: Just confirmed this with a level 9 who then leveled to level 10. We killed Beruda at level 9, and he got Bear Hunter, then at 10 he got Master of the Bear King. So not only can you get more than one, but they also moved Hunter to exclusively at level 1-9, Master to exclusively level 10, nothing for 11-20 (I personally confirm this, having killed 10 bear bosses at during levels 16, 17, and 18 and not getting any title), and Bully at 20+. The others are probably still doable, but I haven't confirmed them.

I'm calling it a bug that theres no 11-19 title until they confirm this as undocumented change.

I haven't gone after the bear in a couple of months, so can not say if anything has changed in one of the patches since then.

However I will say that it took me 5 kills on 2 different characters to get the Bear Bully title. Both were between 12 and 15 level wise.

Master of the Bear King (Gotten at level 10 if in group that kills Beruda Lize)
Bear Hunter (Gotten between levels 1-9, if in group that kills Beruda Lize, you can get two titles at level 1 if in group that kills Berzuda, confirmed, This one and Great Master)
Bear Bully (Gotten at level 20+ for killing the Beruda Lizethe Bear King)

These are the only titles obtainable from that silly named bear.

"Lone Ranger" when worn gives +3 Stamina. Given when you kill a Bear. This Bear is different though, it is not a named Bear, but the name is in Gold Lettering and is not an elite. Just a really rare spawning mob. (In otherwords, it is a Bear with gold lettering instead of red lettering in the name) You can not get this from killing Beruda Lize. I was level 9 when I got it. Easily soloed as a warrior.

I have all titles except for Bear Bully on my 12/10 Warrior/Rogue on Govinda, name is Vixxen, send me a whisper if you want. Just dont ask what I am wearing.

Can anyone confirm this special Gold Bear spawn? Looking at the replies I'm seeing mixed reports, a couple people say its from normal bear yet one person has a screenshot of getting the title after killing the bear king...

Also, killed Beruda Liza on my 18/22 K/R, didn't get any title :\. Guess it's a little bugged. Is there any level restriction on Lone Ranger too?

I just got the "Lone Ranger" title, it is to solo beruda lize )probably spelled that wrong) at lvl 10 (or under? idk, i did it at 10, so cant say if you can get it at 1-9), it isn't just a random bear with a gold name. It also does give you the +3 to stamina that someone else mentioned earlier.

seems to me some 1 @ frog HQ has a thing for bears ... too many titles for these honey loving fuzzballs. could use some variety if you ask me.

I confirm that what he's saying is true. Multiple titles can be earned, and Bear Hunter is gained at levels 1-9.

Yesterday, I was just killing boars for some tusks then I had to kill a bear that aggroed me. It was just a regular bear, [Didn't notice whether name was red or gold so I'm not confirming the gold bear thing] and I got the "Lone Ranger" title.

I'm pretty sure I didn't kill the bear boss because I 2shotted this bear with my Mage... I'm not twinked out or anything :O

I just wanna know how to get this title with my other characters!

Several have reported this bug on the forums, both US and EU. But until someone actually works to consistently recreate the bug, it will never be debugged. I do not ever expect this bug to be fixed. Just enjoy the title. It is difficult, but not impossible, to earn the intended way.

This is untrue. I can't confirm this special Bear as I have not seen it myself, but the title "Lone Ranger" is, as far as I know, supposed to be gotten from killing Beruda. I have gotten it on 6 different alts now, one of each class, soloing Beruda at level 10.

Is the nemesis of the undead title a working title now? i wanna know before i go fighting for it lol

Okay, I originally looked at this list and thought to myself, sure - lets see how many I can get. How I got them as follows:

Created level 1 female mage.
Completed Tutorial - Novice Adventurer.
Found bear king and had my brother kill him - Great Master of the Bear King, Bear Hunter.
Leveled to 9, modded some +17's with npc stones on some white gear, soloed bear king - Lone Ranger
Leveled to 10, got secondary class, went to Obsidian via Reifort - Ecology Research Team Member.
Took out Bump in the Night - Full Stomach Warrior.
Came back, killed bear king again - Master of the Bear King.
Leveled to 15/15 and beat Malatina's game - Survivor of Malatina's game.
Came back, killed bear king again - Bear Bully.
Got a run thru MA - Nemesis of the Undead.
Level 15/15 with 10 titles.

Level 40 - Completed Epic 1 - Hero of Taborea
Some vague thing in MA - Wanted by Zhuridon
Some vague thing in Paspers? - Whitefur Something
Waiting for Hyri to spawn for - Cactus Killer
11/30 Wins in Malatina's game - Contender of Malatina's Game
11/100 Wins in Malatina's game - Mole King
Full TT run - Daredevil, Friend of Pirates

18 titles in all, excluding any of the seasonal ones.

I attempted to drag my alt thru MA for the Wanted by Zhuridon title, but even with dozens of runs each under 20 minutes, at levels 26, 35, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44 and 45 - I did not receive it. I told this to Icarii and he said it might be broken.

I can confirm the existence of the "special bear with a yellow name" for Lone Ranger.

I soloed the Bear King at level 10/10 last week, but someone threw me a heal just after I started . End result.... I only got "Master of the Bear King". 10/10 K/P, no over-powerd gear, just logar chain set, a blue sword and shield I had +1'd.

I had read about this special rare non-aggroing bear so I kept slaughtering bears for another 30 mins. Then it spawned! I soloed it and was definitely awarded "Lone Ranger". It wasnt a particularly hard bear (not after soloing the Bear King!!), though definitely harder than normal.

can we still get all the title? or you can't anymore once you get a title from him?

i mean at level 1 i hired someone to kill him and got the bear hunter and great master of bear king titles. can i still get the master of bear king and bear bully or even lone ranger after?

and it's actually weird one of my toon only got the bear hunter title even if he's level 9 only instead of the master of the bear king title... lol

ive gotten 2 different titles while leveling alts and killing normal bears...

bear hunter (when in a party and killing a normal bear)

lone ranger (when alone and killing a normal bear)


both of these titles were recieved at ~8-9 and not from killing the beruda lize crown

my character was twinked and able to 1 shot the bears... probably didnt matter but maybe...

i did not notice any golden lettering as others have mentioned but maybe i just wasnt paying attention


also important to mention that lone ranger gives 3 stamina when worn
