Lvl 50-70 Chart showing exp, cost, and time

***** note **** use thethe revised document locatedand here:

https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B4DN9mhyTfVIVURPQlVMOUMyOE0

I created a chart today that some of you might find useful. I Really started making it just to see how long it's going to take me to level using only dailies, but I kept thinking of additional things to add to it. If you wanted to power level your upper level character using dailies, this chart will show you how much it would cost ( in gold and diamonds, and thus, in US Dollars) to level yourself using guard dog meat. It also shows how long it would take to level yourself using butterflies based on each butterfly run taking a certain amount of time. And of course, how many minutes or hours to level up from one lvl to the next based on that. Several values are adjustable. If you're interested, I've uploaded it to Google Chrome. This one is an Online spreadsheet but it's not editable:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?…NUh5WFlQMGtVZFE

This one is a link to the original spreadsheet and you can download it and use it on your own. This one is editable so you can play around with the numbers as you wish. You'll need Microsoft Excel or a similar compatible spreadsheet program to use this one.

**EDIT**
I took this idea and decided to create a form, making it much easier for anyone to get the information they need. For example, if you're currently at level 56 and you're wondering how long it will take you to get to level 60, or how much it would cost to get to level 60 in one day, this form will allow you to display that information. What about if you had money to buy diamonds but need to know how many diamonds it would take to get enough daily resets to advance your level 68 character to level 70? This form will answer that question and in addition, it will tell you how much money the diamonds will cost you (in US Dollars, or in Gold if you're buying them via gold exchange) and it will tell you how long you'll be killing butterflies until you reach your goal, based on an estimated round trip time frame for each Butterfly quest completion... by default it's set at 5 minutes. It will also give you the Guard dog option information. How much guard dog meat would you have to buy, and based on whatever AH price, how much total would you pay for the meat required. That variable, and several others, are adjustable so you can customize it to give you just the information you need.

Here's a link to the form:
https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B4DN9mh…tc0YybUQ5LTZKUQ

Unfortunately, the Google Docs online version doesn't work so you'll have to have Microsoft Excel and download the form. To download it, follow the link to bring up the form in Google Docs. Then on the web page (not on the browser title bar) click on File, then Download.

Now go download this, use it, and start planning you next level-up!

Thank you, that's very useful. I'm always very thankful when I see another player put this type of effort into the game.

I've marked this forum thread into my favorites.

How about just doing normal quests to get from 56-70? Got a list of those?

Any suggestions? I just dont like doing the same quest over and over and over...

It's not possible to hit 70 without doing any dailies whatsoever. If you try, you'll only end up hitting a wall where you're stuck doing dailies for a straight month (or more) without the use of reset tickets. Dailies are meant to supplement normal quests -- there are barely enough quests after 55 (without exp boosts) to keep questing without hitting a wall, and that is with dailies.

It's a lot easier after you start questing in Redhill Mountains.

Land of Malevolence is supposed to get you to 65 but only gets you to 63.5 (assuming you start at 62) but at least the Redhills quests start showing up at 63. Redhills is supposed to get you to 67 but coming in 1.5 levels below 65 it still gets you a decent amount into level 66 and Tergothen Bay will easily get you to 70 with quests to spare. :)

The trick of course, is to always do 10 dailies & take your time with questing, spreading out each zone over several days.

Yeah, I hadn't realized how tight exp was in certain level ranges until I came back and started a druid. My priest was extremely easy back before I quit, since I leveled via cap progression (and numerous massive exp events), so I never ran into a quest wall. The 58-62ish range is horrid without that double exp--though I am happy we haven't had any, since I don't like my TP getting screwed.

Certainly couldn't imagine someone trying to get by without any dailies period. It's hard enough with them.

On topic, though, the excel form in the OP is totally awesome. :D

Wow you did very nice job on this chart. When there will be new elite skills and I will need to lvl up my second and third class it will help me to know how much gold I need for it. Thank you.

I downloaded but the excel document is protected. So I cannot change the numbers in the blue box. Reset tickets have changed price since this was uploaded and dias sell for less. Wanted to reflect those changes. Does anyone know the password?

I was looking at some of the figures and they seem a bit off. For one, the daily tickets are cheaper now. Another was how much gold you got for selling diamonds. With my calculation you were selling them for 60k each. I know each server has different diamond prices, so was just confused until i did the math myself lol. Also in your chart you say that you would have to buy 6 daily reset tickets at a cost of 1,485 diamonds...which, even at the old price of 55 per, is only 330 diamonds. So maybe go through and fix some of your numbers or clarify how you got them?

Thanks for the feedback. I've made some changes to the document and unlocked it so you can save your own copy and edit it. Now you can change any of the values/costs and it will reflect accordingly. Also, the one column that showed way too many diamonds needed is showing an accumulative amount for all levels. Use the chart on the first worksheet and you'll be good. The new document is here.

Ah, that works much better now that we can adjust values. Thanks!
