im fairly certain revoe/aggr/assassin/madness is the set up that gives the most PA while sacrificing all stam, which is kind of what im shooting for.
a dead dps is useless

because they are dirt cheap. This goes back to the cost vs output thing.

well now you say block runes for a rogue but you just said that patt is more important then hp, so why use block rune when patt is more important? im not saying that hp is more important then patt at all, but if you get aggro with just over 100k hp then you will die for sure, atleast if you buff to around 140-150k you can take a hit from a trash mob in the latest instance, (assuming its not the skeletons from grotto which hit like trucks) not to mention that madness runes are never on promo anymore -.- was gonna make them before they did tyrant/assassin runes![]()
.
No madness at ah on Siochain, so can't really say what is the price there, but budget is ofc always a good reason.
I remember a few sales with tyrant runes (december/january), then they left them out. BUT there were always Raid VII and Curse VII on promo at the same time as Assassin VII. And since Tyrant is Raid + Curse...
Yes, Tyrant VII costs 1 charge more than Assassin, but unless you head up for tier IX or X imho its not that big deal.
As for the hp stacking for pve, I agree with Darwec and Mrpushpop. There is no need for high hp at all... Since most of the ugly hits are % based, its actually better to keep hp low![]()
You can also do Shadowstab -> Lowblow -> Wound attack -> Wound attack. Then once you have 70+ energy back again you can repeat. You can successfully cast 2 wound attacks for every 1 shadowstab and lowblow. My scruits generally end up being 18 wound attacks 3 ss/lb at the end of a fight (depending on length of course).
Note: blind spot bleed does not last as long so doesn't work.
Ehm, why not to use ss/blind spot/lb? If you have 60-70 energy why wait for WA?You can also do Shadowstab -> Lowblow -> Wound attack -> Wound attack. If there are other rogues in the party using ss/low blow, I don't use them and only use wound attack and throw.

Also, I wouldn't go with Hill Bear Cub for pet's transformation. Personally I would go for either the Rainbow Falcon or the Executioner Puppet.
Rainbow Falcon gives 10% pa for 30 seconds, where as Hill Bear Cub is only 5% pa and 5% attributes. (5% attributes gives very little compared to 5% pa(at least for rogue and scout))
Executioner Puppet gives 5% attributes (yeh, not that good) and 8% attack speed. Attack speed means more damage per hit, no matter what you are v'sing.
So of those 2 I would go for Puppet first, and if it doesn't go on sale any time soon I would get the Falcon.

Yeh, I know its rarely on sale, hence why I said I would only get it if you're lucky enough for it to be on sale just after (or before) making your pet. And it was a suggestion, im not saying buy 1 instantly because its better, just that it IS better.
And yes, looking through that list, there are 11 pets in total that give 10% attack. I don't remember it ever being on sale, so never looked into it, but the Fell Snake is really good. 10% pa and lowers targets defence by 10% for 15 seconds.
Forest Fox, Red Valley Hyena, Rainbow Falcon, Ice Plain Sabretooth Tiger (+ aggro increase by 10%), Hidden Panther, Green Lakoso, Forest Leopard, Forest Fox, Floating Balloon Monster, Crimson Hog and Big Kuman all increase pa by 10%.
Valley Marauder, Executioner Puppet and Crystal Ball Grain all increase attack speed by 8%.

SO i have a super low level fell snake, but its a blue pet. I would lose upto 500 dex and str, but i almost want to level it. Almost meaning im not going to, because its probably not worth it.
