Runes of Magic US / AU

As a S/P I very much appreciate all this info you guys have given. To me, I see my class combo as becoming a potential asset for any TT runs. Purify Shot, Vampiric Transformation, Blood Arrows, off-Regen, off-Heal... it all seems to line up.

Grats but yawn at the same time... you guys are some of the best geared on the server. Try it like those of us that can't afford all those diamonds.

Hey Zarth, are Snow Blake's spells instacast? If not, have you tried to interrupt them? Also, have ya'll looked for possibly a zone in the room that offers protection from the root / AOE blast? Just some ideas.

Why do you say "afford all those diamonds"??

The gear comes from drops. The stats from framing instances. The charges from leveling alts. For example...Tier 8 Kal Turok staff = 0 dollars.

Some players have a ridiculous stigma attached to them. As soon as someone sees a well geared player they automatically assume they've spent a fortune on their gear. Not the case here.

*edit* That website is unreliable anyway. It's got my daggers wrong.

Wah, wtf. That thing is so wrong. The Magic Attack and Damage being shown is as if everything is being double-hammered.

*Sigh*... god damn Curse Profiler. I tried to make it update to a blank equipment set but nooo it delays itself. *Goes to go remove stuff*

There are a lot of people running around in gear that use nothing but pure stones. It used to be much easier to make diamonds through gold exchange and stat-selling. Alas, that golden age is over. Still, although I'll admit I've bought a fair amount of my pure stones with real money, my stats are all farmed or traded. Bob hasn't spent a dime on the game, and Zarth's spent something like $8.00. I think Kasmira is in the same boat as bob, seeing as some of the pures she uses come from Phirius Tokens, but I can't say for sure.

on elf island there is a quest to pick up a ton of mushrooms, now assuming you get a someone to port you over there if you are human and you haven't do the quest already then you can pick up a mushroom called Dark Brown Mushroom (or maybe Flame Red Mushroom)this mushroom can be used and it adds a weak DoT to yourself (5 damage per tick i believe).

now if you collect a bunch of these before hand then you can laugh at Snow Blake's root effect. (haven't tested this)

Mavoc, you are a professional Necromancer bringing threads back from the dead.

On topic: It's not a root anymore, it's a slow now so the boss is quite simple.

??? it was a root when i did it last week

and you can't be accused of necroing inside the guides and stickies forum

We killed Snow blake last night and every time she called us close to her the root went away and it became a joint blow. She still does root you but it seems to disappear and turn into a slow when she pulls you close.
