What level are you? It seems you can't get the shells until you are at least lvl 50

Well when you complete it, and by complete it I mean open all the tiles and the chests, she will immediately port you out, so you must have had a chest unopened in the back or something that you didn't see, in order for it to tick to 0 like that

I tried it again today, 3 different toons...all worked fine. So, I think you're correct...most likely I failed to open a chest, because I know I checked all the squares. My excuse is it was my first time... :p

Thanks for the necro, this actually inspired me to try it...and of course after doing it once it becomes pretty easy. Had almost 2 mins to spare the last time.

Now...this "Course of Terror" seems a bit more intimidating. Need to do more research before I start throwing tokens at it! :D

I completed it with 5 seconds left XD get hit with one more totem AoE and I wouldn't have made it. Wait, I have to do it 30 times?

EDIT: *GASP* I necroed on the second page X( YAY!!!
EDIT2: "Totem giving you grief? Try clearing tiles while square to the totem &#8230; often you can &#8220;stare&#8221; it into submission and it won&#8217;t cast it&#8217;s AoE. (not 100% but it does work)" from the OP... what does it mean by "square to the totem"?

I am interpreting that as your toon should be looking in the direction of the totem.

Basically line up such that you're always facing the totem and it will often not cast it's knock-down wave.

For some reason I still only have a 50/50 chance of completing this and when I do I usually have a few ticks left on the clock. But I love the fact that everytime I am going in there is a chance I will fail.

I'm assuming you're referring to the Course of Terror game, not the one being discussed in this thread, because there are no special chests in the survival game.

Both the third and fourth rounds of the Course of Terror game award a precious key if you complete them in under 3 minutes each.

I believe it's...

Complete round 2 in <= 3 minutes .... bonus chest appears
Complete round 3 in <= 3 minutes .... another bonus chest appears, gain 1 precious key
Complete round 4 in <= 3 minutes .... gain 1 precious key

So, to get the maximum amount of chests and keys (10 regular + 2 bonus) you need to complete the last 3 rounds in 3 minutes or less (each). And of course, leave yourself enough time to open all the chests ;)
