Little more detail on Boss 2:

Yash spawns adds that are on the beds at certain points in the fight; the lower her hp, the more adds spawn. Minimum of 1, maximum of 4. Now you don't have to actually fight these adds. What we do is put the ranged dps and/or priests at the 4 beds in the room. One at each bed. When you see the little cone descend upon an add, you know that will be the add that will be summoned. The dagger in the bed has to be clicked 4 times; after each click it becomes unclickable for a few seconds I believe, so you have to wait; this is why you have to start clicking early, when the cone shows up. If you successfully click the dagger 4 times the add will turn green when it spawns, and help you during the fight. Some use skills (if you press k you'll have a pet skills window for the add), and some just help by themselves. I've never actually been able to use the pet skills, possibly because I'm usually tanking and am not the one clicking the daggers. To note: EACH TIME YOU CLICK THE DAGGER YOU TAKE DAMAGE. This is normal, you have to heal or pot through it. This is why we generally either put priests on the daggers, or I'll call out priests during the fights to heal up the dagger people if they aren't already.

As for tanking the boss, I've tanked her pretty much... everywhere. For us though, we tank the boss near the middle of the room, so that when the priests are at the beds I'm still in range of everyone.

Boss 3, agreed with Gamegenius. Stay balled up tight, have the tank wws/tab holy strike or whatever he does to grab aggro on the add(s) that spawn. It seems the slower you kill him the more adds he spawns; i.e. the longer you take the harder the boss fight becomes.

we tried that dagger strat from our intial encounter there, but it seemed only clickable once or only by one person, and either the tank or offtank will take the adds, i got np taking the adds and boss, cuz she dies really fast anyway. i think the adds hit harder than her tho lol

My guild does the same stuff that Gatorade said for beating Yash - we have a mage and a druid run down and kite the adds. It gets messy when you have 3 or 4 adds spawn near the end, but that's where a druid comes in handy. Druids are much better at healing while running (more instant casts), and believe me you're going to need to run because your heal aggro is going to pull at least 1 of the adds off of the mage and on to you :)

What can I say, we like to live dangerously.

How to kill yash: Burn her before any adds spawn.

If an add starts to spawn, spam click the dagger so it's friendly.

If your group has enough DPS to do this, then you definitely don't need a strategy guide, and you've likely already been through DL a hundred times anyway :)

just wish the vids were higher quality, 480p is not good enough quality to zoom in and actually see whats going on, especially when you are trying to learn how to fight a boss for the first time

I will be uploading and commenting on videos again here soon. My son just graduated HS and my life has been a bit crazy not much free time.

I try to take a lesser geared group in to show the stratigy the right way instead of all the OP players.

Very nice videos.

I just want to know if anyone can give me some advice on the Chef in IDK 50.

I mainly duo with a friend and we have been able to duo Kalin's Shrine, Cyclops Liar. But so far the chef likes to 1 to 2 shot the tank.

The tank is efficiently built with over 25k hitpts and decent armor.

Can anyone advise me as if there is some trick that you have to do in order to kill the Chef?

The flame attack that comes off the oven hit the tank for 60k points....no way I can heal past that.

Very frustrated at this point with this boss fight. So just asking if anyone could give me some advice on the fight.

I have watched several videos of people duoing at 50/50 and it looks like just tank n spank type of fight and in the vids I watched I never saw the guys take more than 3 to 5k damage.

I am a druid and can heal for over 10k with a single target heal ( I know not great but for where we are at in the game is sufficient ).

Its been a long time but ill try my best from memory.

1st thing you should do is pull the boss up on the ledge. Dont fight him down by the oven. It has an AOE that will hurt you.

2nd The boss has an attack that hits for a % of health he will say a text line followed by a Chop Chop Chop. when he starts this attack the tank needs to move far away. The easy way to handle this so you know you are out of the way is just have the tank/Main attacker kite him around the ledge. However, dont get to far away from the entrance to the oven area.

3rd. He will freeze someone when he does this a party member has to run to the stove. when you get to the stove you will receive a burning debuff that you must run to the frozen person with to knock away the ice. This debuff hurts.... Also it is a timed debuff so you want to stay close to the stove entrance so the person whom is responsible for unfreezing can make it to the person before the debuff runs out.

That's basically the whole fight from what i remember.

Thank you for such a fast response.

You put a lot of work into those vids and letting you know I have enjoyed watching you guys make this game look easy.I think the part I bolded is what we have been doing wrong, we figured out the frozen part and keeping him at the edge of the counters to kite him but the tank was not pulling off when he would go into the hit that does a percentage of helath. I had three regens on him and was even spaming heals but that hit would kill him in less than 2 secs ( my cast time for restore life ). Feel like I have cheated by asking...but impatience for the 50/50 elite

NP glad i can help. Trust me when i say i enjoy figuring out most of the fights on our own. The group i run with also does and it makes the game fun for us. I am also happy to lend a hand due to sometimes its just a pain in the arse and after lots of deaths you just want to down it.

I noticed you didn't put any comments or tips on Sirloth... I fraps'd a Sirloth battle a week or 2 ago and cranked out this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-lhm4Zd0KI

And yeah, just wanted to say I like this thread and your videos... there are way too many "bragging" videos and not nearly enough that share strats and try to teach newbies.

note on that sirloth vid:

he only aggros a person if they are standing in front of him. so have tank stand in front while everyone is behind and tank will automatically get first look.

also boulder avalanche splits w/ dead people too, so stack on the dead person

Ah, didn't know about the front aggro... good to know so clothies with less than 15k pdef don't get owned :)

And yeah, probably should have mentioned the dead players thing... that's why we parked our alts in the middle and let them die there.

Does Sirloth actually target dead bodies though? I've never actually seen it happen... I know he targets a random player, the attack is a decent sized AoE centered on the player, and the damage is reduced based on number of people stacked on the target. Basically the worst case scenario (instawipe for anyone with less than ~50k hp) is if he targets a player that's close to the whole group but not stacked with anyone. I always tell my guys that if they're going to **** it up, run away from the group instead of trying to get back to the middle.

Updated.. RT 1st boss completed will add 2nd tomorrow. I wont comment yet due to the strats being a bit hush hush still. I can say if you watch the video you can figure out the fights tho no problem.

For the people who follow my vids i will try to get some of the other stuff up. I have it all frapsed but my RL is crazy right now and i haven't had time to merge and setup the files. I will try to knock it out over the next 2 weeks and get some comments added in.
