I will give my take on the first 4 bosses, somewhat extensive knowledge so brace yourself.

Boss 1 additional info:

Mentos: 9 mentos on normal

First and foremost, in normal mode if you have the addon "Removespelleffects" you have to remove it or you will not see the fire. Stand in the fire for a long time without extreme amounts of healing and you will most likely die.

There appears to be a glitch where after clicking the gunpowder and you get a 20 second buff, the buff will disappear. I am hoping someone can explain why this happens every so often. When this doesnt happen I can usually hit the big shot 5 or 6 times.

Catapult players. If you are designated to a catapult on normal mode, when on the catapult do not keep waiting for the strong attack to come back. Alternate between the gunpowder attack and weak attack for a MUCH faster fight.

IMO: Best party setup is 4 dps and 2 healers. Strongest dps on the adds. (Healers may need some meat on their bones as they will be taking a lot of add's hits) What I would suggest is that if the tank is able to go as dps, put them on one of the catapults.

Boss 2 additional info:

Best party setup: 5 dps and 1 healer. Most people cant do this because of the 2 healer requirement for the first boss. The first can possibly be done with 1 healer but ive been told that it is VERY hard, especially as a priest and not a druid.

Burn method: When we go in we dps like crazy, like any other boss. When the boss casts "Merging Rune", right after its finished casting have the priest cast their bubble, and this will prevent any damage and allow everyone to continue dps. The next time the boss casts "merging rune" you only have to attack and kill ONE of the surrounding orbs (we always went after frost). You attack the orb at the same time the priest were to cast their bubble, right after "Merging Rune" finishes casting. In this method you should really have good dps, as the buffs not being removed by killing the other 2 orbs will eventually get the party killed. Ive heard you can cake (magic immune food) the same time as you would normally bubble but it takes the whole party to be in sync because if anyone misses the party will wipe.

Boss 3 additional info:

To get to boss: Lasers are going to appear. Each party member should have 6 or so bottles of water. Click on the water and it gives you a cast area on the floor. Click 6 bottles of water on the fire rune devices and it will destroy it. As soon as the laser disappears, you have to stand in the door area and wait for the next one. Your best bet is having a healer go first, and having another healer or off healer spam heals so he has time to get in the door. Spamming heals on anyone else is really helpful who is trying to get situated into each doorway. When the priest gets all the way through, call out whos going to run. The priest can then put a regen on them and spam urgent (or druid with all of their regen ticks) and the person can just run all of the way through. This can all be done in swapped gear, as the attacks from lasers are % based. Death here will result in death debt, but it also puts a buff on you that stacks every time you die from the lasers. At around 14 or 15 you are pretty much immune, so if you are having trouble, put your sigh on and keep dying and ressing from a priest and you can run through completely immune.

Boss 4 (Normal):

(Be careful when going to this boss. There are 2 mini bosses that require a minimal burn using instruments. They have about 6 mill hp and can wipe a party if not killed fast enough)

So far the only method I have done on this boss is burn. If you can burn the 3rd boss, then you can burn this guy. 1 healer, 1 tank, 4 dps. Preferably a dps type tank.

Burn Method: First time around you go around and kill the surrounding mobs of the boss. Killing the last guy will activate the boss, and at that time the countdown starts to how fast you can burn it. It is my suggestion to you all that you run to the little platform where you first run in, then swap and die. You have little time to play instruments or do anything really before the boss is on your butt the first time around. If the priest cant res, have them run back (hopefully they are good at soloing through the lasers). You may be able to pull the mob back and kill him from a distance not starting the boss, but just swapping and dying is all it took for us. The next time around play your instruments on that platform in front of the boss and just dps it as fast as possible. If he rises up into the air and casts a skill called annihilation attack, you might as well kiss your butts goodbye because thats it for you.

Thats all the info I have for now, as the party I was in did not want to continue meaning that the next fight is going to be extremely difficult. Oh another piece of advice, a druid is your best friend in this instance. Having him able to turn mobs friendly and get them killed is quite when it comes to butlers and other hard hitting characters.

We went in last night on easy and I noticed this too, I'd no sooner click on the catapult than the buff would disappear. Seemed to be linked with Flames from the boss hitting the area I was at with an aoe effect. I'll include it in the notes for the strat.

Also, while your input is appreciated, I'm going to refrain from posting burn strategies for the boss fights since that's not the purpose of the thread. Burning in higher instances simply isn't possible without elite geared parties, for others just getting having the actual strat will be more important.

Grimdal, 3rd & 4th boss downed.

3rd boss strat is frustrating to follow so we just burned it.

4th boss strat, couldn't figure out the strat but there are 4 crystals in each corner of the room that once clicked on can put one of the following debuffs on players:

MA Reduction
PA Reduction
8k HP DoT every second for 10 seconds.
Something about the boss looking at you weird, sounds like an aggro debuff where he will aggro you.

He casts Annihilation Attack and we don't know how to stop it or survive it.

The 8k HP dot on 4th boss is the key to surviving Annihilation Attack. It can't be survived by any normal means.

The Problem i found with the 4th boss when he jumps and casts annihilation is that he gets it off before i can finish clicking the crystal.

and its only clickable when he flies into the air from what I have noticed. Either that or they are on a Cool Down.

Anyone know the order/sequence for the blood dot on 4th boss? Once we get it for the first attack, never seem to get the right order to live through the second.

3rd tank shield 1st hit
bubble when he changes agro, usually dead about that time
4th boss just burn it :P
if he jumps bubble 1st atk
run from his lazers
never had to go to a second jump
(1 w/r,1r/s, 1 p/k, 1 k/s 1st jump at 10%hp)

5th boss is about patient and spacing

meele esp has to learn to stand and wait between atks
also have a DPS pick up sword and use it at the start
after agro reset, tank picks up the armor that is dropped on the floor
gives you a nice buff
dps burns CDs after armor comes off
if your too close to someone else you blow up u and those around you.(looks like a green fog)
the Pillars on the side are perfect for spacing
....... 2 healers work best since everyone is spaced out so far.
ranged is better than meele, so much easier cuz that can stand still and meele has to run in and out of the fight between aoes and green fog

Wow very nice, we had tried everyone getting a crystal but seemed like not everyone could click it and if someone clicked before someone else then they'd not get any buffs.

So simply have 4 dps assigned to one crystal each and have them be alert to the annihilation attacks? Couldn't tell if the druid in your video was going for his crystal? Seems like he's not doing it and your dps is doing; close left, close right, and far right at the same time?

Very nice non-burn video btw

4th boss; 11 mems; 10kk HP

Kill the 4 masked mobs around boss to desctivate boss shield to start fight. Behind each mob is a crystal that gives debuffs to the players that activate them. Debuffs are PA reduction, MA reduction, Aggro increase, and the 8k DoT. These buffs seem to be completely random, seems to be no logical order associated with them.

Start up with a normal dps burn making sure tank gets first hit. The first cast the boss does is "Strengthen Body" around 10 seconds into the fight which will decrease damage received for the boss. Around 20 seconds the boss jumps in the air and there will be "Annihilation Attack" which is about a 5 sec cast that will wipe the party if one of you doesn't have the blood sacrifice debuff (8k dot) from one of the crystals.

After that your team has a 5-10 second window for DPS to burn as much as they can until he casts "Annihilation Beam" where he jumps in the air again and casts a huge laser beam at the ground that will tick for a good portion of your HP if you get hit by it, so spread out and run (use godspeed potion if possible). After the beam it's rinse and repeat. Annihilatiom Beam is always after an Annihilation attack and before the next one.

*There is a golden writing in the middle of the screen when the boss is about to jump so you know when to run to your crystal.

**4 crystals mean you need to assign 1 person to each, since the blood debuff is random, to click on them in time.

***Crystals take 3 seconds to cap, giving you about a 2 second window

Video can be seen in Zap's link which is an excellent example of how to do this boss without burn. Feel free to add Zap if I forgot something.

You pretty much got everything down :o

He also has a frontal aoe he does from time to time whenever has a blue hue on his head. At this time the tank may be frozen and he will slowly lose health so it will have to be cleansed right away.

Also, the crystals cannot be spam clicked, as this will reset the capture timer.

It's easier to just burn 4th boss.

It's so frustrating that even attempting the strat will take hours to kill the boss sicne there is a like a 10 second window. :\

Tuesday, August 2nd 2011, 7:38pm

Everything is easier without the strat, but burning isn't the point of this thread.

4th boss all u need to do is click one crystal(yellow) forget the others. Keep one ranged attacker on crystal rest dps boss when he goes up and cast bar is 1/4 the way click crystal. Dont forget to move away from him as he lands small aoe around him. Dps a little til he goes back up for his beam attack and use speed pots to get away from it. During this phase your ranged should be looking for the yellow crystal again and get ready to click if needed for the next annhilation attack. Rinse and repeat.

Very Important: The person that is clicking the Yellow crystal be prepared to use Phirius pots. when u click the yellow u lose a huge chunk of life
