Do you get XP/TP debt if you die during this minigame? In other words, is there any reason I shouldn't try it just for fun, or should I worry about the consequences of failing?

You don't receive XP/TP debt from dying in the minigame, so the only consequence is that you won't receive the full worth of your 30 Phirius Tokens.

As a Warden I have a big advantage in this game...since I can just smash all the pylons at the beginning (Cross Chop FTW), and then let my pet deal whit the monster while I start digging around the center, ha!

Another time consumer is the digging and opening of chests- specifically, clicking it more than once. It resets the tile/ chest. Careful with the clicking.

As a M/P, I tend to kill everything then start digging. I prefer the up a row, down the other method and crack the chests as they present themselves.

I also take the knockdowns as they come, as it takes time to get away from them and then come back.

What about armor durability? Does it decrease as a result of fighting/dying within the minigame?
