The lvl 90 hm staff has matk/maccur, just as the gengu and trial does.
And also has 560 less Mdam or so than the lv 90 brown one (prior to tiering, plussing).
I hope it doesn't get ninja nerfed prior to release, or become dreamland staff v 2.0 lol

I absolutely refuse to use a staff that has accuracy on it. I'm still using my t12 +20 Hoson's Spine.

That new Hall of Earth staff, Staff of Ashes is a very nice upgrade.

the new instance cannot be ran individually. if i m not wrong its a world instance, like VN, queen chamber etc.

if this is true, then there will be huge monopolizing/harassment/rejectiveness issues. so no, i m not glad that this instance is open. it will just make strong stronger and even wide the gap in all servers.

correct me if i m wrong about the VN-type world-instance thing

Phase 3: ???
After the 200,000 resources you have to farm 100 Earth Key Fragments off the mobs in the Shatterstar Watchtower region of Arcanium...
Right click them to get an Earth key -> Right click that and you can enter Hall of Earth

Each person has to farm 100 earth key frags and make a key(they fragments are NOT bound but the key is)

After that it seems that you can enter as many times as you want... Also no indication that the instances is only open for a certain time period from what I see... Been open on Govinda since about 5:00am est

For the instance itself... the first trash mobs have 5kk hp and I think it was first boss has 193kk hp

I had to attune an alt to test...

I went inside on two different toons, in different parties and it was 2 different instances it appears... so it is not like VN

OK, my take on the new instance so far:

prereq is stupid. just make some attunement questline at max. resources needed to "open" instance failed wonderfully with CV, and we see what that was changed to. please follow CV in that respect.

OMG another origin!!!! (its a dream come true! :D )

as origin is one of my(if not my) favorite instances, I love that the new instance is going to be copying the map(literally :P). as one of the most picturesque places in RoM, it was a great choice of instance to copy IMO.

the bosses and mobs don't appear to be super-strong(impossible) either, so thanks for that.

also, the gear actually looks very good for the current level(weapons and accessories at least. as well as most of the sets), completely unlike CV which was obsolete before it even came out. thanks for that as well.

cost/reward ratio appears to be pretty decent(again, completely opposite CV)...

but still, ANOTHER ORIGIN!!!!

I hope this instance has some nice(unique) strats/twists like the original origin does(yes, including transform fight)...

it seems they both learned alot in some aspects and well...erm...failed to learn at all in others from CV...

all in all, once u get it open, it looks very promising. I look forward to seeing more of it.

The opening mechanism phases 1+2 (gold+materials) are global.
Phase 3 is still in the open world instance that is the Arcanium Chamber, but individually - as you need to grind for the key fragments to complete a key per player.
Once that is complete you can enter the instance, and yes, it is a raid instance, not a world instance like Varanas Nightmare or Queens Chamber was.
The key is, to my knowledge, permanent.

Phase 1 + 2 are independent on which/how many of the instances are available, Phase 3 will feature different mobs to grind the respective different key fragments from in the other areas of the Arcanium Chamber.

As for the loots - if you read the infopost closely and and saw the screenshot in the Infopost, you can determine that you will not be able to get the weapons just now, as "Temple of the Ancient Spirtis" will contain a total of 4 instances over time.
For now you are able to acquire the items that are available from the NPC that actually demands Earth materials for trade-in.
Items accessible for now: Accessories and Capes.

The items have specifically been upgraded to their current state from the state they had before 6.1.0.2710.

anyone figured out what was the quest that could be done daily for haidon gratitude packages and how to do that quest?

edit: still didnt figure out for first phase, but now in second phase take the portal in class hall then talk to Allen Feknor to get quest, donate to Weily Hanson and done.

OK, couple factoids

1) I seen 4 bosses so far. They are in 193-228 mil HP range. All trash mobs are 5 mil HP. As people noticed, the instance is on Origin map.

2) Bosses don't need to be killed if you can sneak past them. Some of them you can bypass, some not so much. Mobs are generally not skippable, although as the "open air" instance, you don't have to kill many of them, only ones blocking narrow passages.

3) There are no "puzzle" mob groups that I could find, like GCH where you need to solve rooms to allow you to go on. The mobs seem to be wandering around in fairly small groups or solo. I expect that bosses will be the challenging part.

4) 5th boss was missing. Once you get past 4th boss (Raksha knock-off in a place where twin ents are in Origin), there were no mobs and bosses further down. Perhaps he is triggered by killing of other bosses.

Edit:

Lets discuss strategies...

1) We cleared to 1st. Trash mobs are not easy but they are not in huge groups. However, at least in one place, while trying to find a path along edges, most of us got stuck in a tree. :(

2) Boss itself is not that bad. Our generally under-DPSed group got him to 92% and he hits the tank for 20k. But... at 92% he summons 5-6 beetles that spawn under him and start flying outward. They 1-hit everyone, except tank, causing 120-160k damage. There didn't seem to be a cast or text to let people get ready, so not sure how to avoid them. But they are low HP, so if they can be avoided and killed, that would allow DPSing the boss.

3) WORLD DEBT AGAIN??! Not cool.

The beetles on first boss have no warning on spawn. They seem to do a garunteed 1shot on whoever they hit, pdef/hp does not matter. There is one per player, and they will follow you.
