I think it would be really cool if RoM offered a couple of mount mod tickets. The first type would mod your mount to allow it to go across water without disappearing. There are quite a few mounts that are very cool looking that do not have this capability that I would consider purchasing if there were a water crossing mod that could be applied to it. Otherwise, I wouldn't consider these mounts.
The second type of mount mod I suggest is a speed mod ticket. The ticket could raise the mount speed from 65% to 70% with one ticket and a second ticket would raise the speed of a 70% mount to 75% speed. If you have a 65% speed mount, you would need to buy both tickets to get to 75% speed.
This way, you could customize your mounts the way you want. I think this would bring a lot of cash into RoM since mounts that don't fly over water would be purchased along with the purchase of the water flying mod and a speed mod or two. If the cost were kept reasonable, everyone could win.
