Trade in or sell item shop items

i Know this has been mentioned before and should be mentioned again, there should be a trade in for unwanted and/or older item shop items. i can be for gold maybe around 10k per current diamond cost or maybe for half the diamonds or rubies back as a trade in.

There are a lot of others out there that have a lot of item shop items they would love to get rid of or just don't need but hate to just throw away and getting something useful out of them would be better then nothing and not totally unbalance the game or give any big advantage.

Who can say "Plussing Jewels" xD lmao. Those are probably the biggest culprit of this and then those jewels just sit around or get tossed. It would be nice to get something back from them.

I don't think that it will be possible to trade back for diamonds, but what about something like the old Marking Ink event we had sometime ago? Would this be a fairly good compromise?

Yes, let us trade in those old plussing gems for something useful. What else do we have that is collecting dust? 7 day backpack tickets for pages that we have permanent? Nah, I throw those away. Mostly it is just the old lower level plussing jewels.

I would even use some kind of option to GIVE unused items to others, but somehow prohibiting their sale to other. Probably undoable. :(

How about multiple mounts, the old ones we started with then newer and better ones and finally the ones we won in contests. A half a dozen mounts is not unusual and completely useless.

How about an occasional sale of a SPECIAL BIND LIFTER which would be good on item shop items then they could be given away or sold. I for one would pay diamonds for that. :) Maybe only to be used on certain Item Shop Items, not all of them.

a trade in would be fine but as many have said + jewels are a big thing and don't know how well a event to trade them would cover all the different ones threw the years i still have some from beta on toons. aggregators both advance and normal along with the marking ink, megas, and maybe exp pots I've been throwing those out for years. my list could go on and on but the main thing is to be able to clear some bag, chest and bank space without feeling like i'm just throwing away cash.

so a trade in would be a good idea as long as it would be for a useful item and not something that will end up just taking up the same space as the item you just traded in. maybe do something like the the ownstein but instead of the traps do the item shop items for poms, shells, mems, eoj etc... maybe even guild mats runes and rubies. not everything will be as useful to everyone but still would be receiving something of value that can be used or sold.

i don't know what would be easier or better for gf/rw a trade in for items or a npc to to sell to for gold but really feel we need something and would be better if it was a on going thing not just a 1 time event.

How about just patch all plussing gems to be max level every time you raise the level cap? That would be far more useful

and at the same time, they could implement an exchange of all jewels from lvl 55 to current to be exchanged for the best jewels atm. keep in mind that the price of jewels were fixed for the best jewels at that lvl (I think....)

Drilling is a constant price, regardless of level.

A more formal way to sell plussing services is a good idea.
