Jump Wabbit Jump Bugged??

So last night with the start of the new events I decided to try them out ... well the First one I picked up was Jump Wabbit Jump... So I found DeeDee Wabbit and started following him ... and kept following him for about 30 minutes before I got tired of running around in a circle chasing a wabbit that turned me into a turtle and tried to trap ME (unsuccessfully). I am really wondering if this is a bug with the event as even after following this silly wabbit for SO long it still did not complete the quest! Has anyone else had this problem or know what I might have been missing??

you have to do it for 60 sec straight it would probably help do have your friends do it at the same time as you

When I was on last night my BF was re-downloading the game due to ridicules amounts of crashes happening on his client and it was so late everyone else I know were not online at the time .. going to retry again today ... I had followed him for well over 60 seconds straight but we were also having internet issues so maybe the lag on my system might have been preventing it from completing.

No you didn't; you get a buff depending on how close you at to the wabbit (that shows how much time you've been close to it), you have to stay close for 60 seconds straight.

Yep. Not bugged. I did it. You have to be lucky and not have him run off on you. If he does it is over. I used godspeed, mad dash, and spellweaver potions to keep up. I got lucky though and he didn't do the speed thing for a a couple minutes. There is an easy way to avoid all his traps also.

Deedee Wabbit is supposed to turn you into as Turtle - it's the way you get the buff that allows you to complete the quest.

When you are transformed into a Turtle, you get a buff that increases in level for each sec ond you stay close enough to stay as a turtle.

Deedee Wabbit phoned me from her phone, by the way - she would like you to stop referring to her as he, him, his, etc

I keep getting a 'lag slingshot,' as I call it. It's where she just randomly shoots off like she just had a shot of crack and goes 1,000,000mph and more of less keeps the quest impossible to do. And no, my ping is not bad. I've never seen it go above 100ms since I saw this and thought it WAS me. It stays at 47ms and sometimes goes into the lower 60s, so I don't think it's lag on my part. I think that if there is a bug with this, THAT is the bug.

That is not the bug. Deedee does that at random. If she didn't the title and quest would be way too easy.

It is easy enough to complete the quest, I can usually finish it within a 5 minute time frame. Title takes more luck. However, mad dash, sprint, godspeed, whatever can help you keep up with her if she does sprint off on you.

I got the title the first day. I spent about 20 minutes working for it. As for the quest, I do that every day in under 5 minutes as stated.
