Item data error message

I recieved a ring as a reward from a quest on reni server, the ring is stuck going into inve i keep getting flashing message in middle of screen saying item data error, now things have backed up behind it from next quest it is just stuck in limbo not in or out inventory but i cant play because i cant pick up or recieve items.
Yes i have logged out and restarted game but not sure what else to try.

Cannot remember the name of the quest but it was the one from ruins research area in southern janost with 3 ring choices as a reward.

Ok removed my account name but still havent got any type of help and problem still hasnt been fixed, ive also been waiting 3 days for a reply on the support forums for another problem as well,
is there any type of customer service for this game at all ? or anyway of contacting developers and Gms to sort out problems without all this waiting and hoping for a reply maybe.

Perhaps you could try logging into the game on a different PC. This might allow anything that's causing the blockage on your PC to not be there & the stuff could then drop into your backpack.

Then, you could log in again as usual and the stuff will be in your backpack.

I dont have the luxury of 2 pcs with the game on ;p but i have logged into other characters on same account and had no probs with them so it is the actual ring that is causing the issue which makes it a game code error not a pc error i believe.

The actual ring code is obviously at fault and causing the block in my backpack untill it gets removed or recoded i will not be able to play on my main character.

It could be the config files for that specific character that have developed a fault, which is your PC.

Go into your "Documents" folder and look for the "Runes of Magic" folder - you might need to turn on the Show Hidden Files option in Explorer.

Inside the "Runes of Magic" folder, delete/rename the folder of the specific character and try to log in to RoM.

It will re-create the folder with default settings and there's a possibility the ring might drop in properly.
