Quest: "Pick up a nest crystal" bugged

The level 69 quest in tergothen bay named "Pick up a nest crystal" is a bugged.

In the quest you are supposed to:

Summary:

Protect the workers as they collect the Nest Crystal so that they aren't attacked by the Thieves' Hound.

- Collect 3x

Quest Content:

You really helped us teach a lesson to those fearsome hunting dogs, but all those dogs had masters. Now that you've dealt with the dogs raised by those thieves, they must be in terrible moods. If we go to gather Nest Crystal, I'm guessing things won't turn out well...

Most of the swallow nests are built in the open area north of Silent Pass. That is where they are always wandering about!

How about this? How about you protect the workers as they gather the Swallow Nests? Did you see the workers next to me? They haven't made a move for a while now. They are waiting for your call. They will be ready whenever you are!

=====================

However, the problem is you have to talk to a collector who is next to the quest giver so that they can follow you so you can protect them while they collect the crystals BUT there is no option other than "leave conversation" after you talk to them.

I abandoned quest and grabbed it again multiple times. No luck.

I had no trouble with this one on Osha. Talked to the NPC collector, followed him to the area, and made sure that I killed the hounds before the collector walked over to the nests. It takes him a few seconds to get start collecting.

Oh...*facepalm* that's like the one thing I didn't try during my one hour of pure frustration with the collectors.
Let's hope it works.
