Search Incomplete

The Search tab of the Social (o) function returns incomplete results. The number of players listed is far lower than are actually online at any given time. It does not matter what class is specified.

The result of the search function often fails to include people I know to be online because:

1. I see them in my Guild's online list
2. I see them in world/zone chat
3. I see them in my current party
4. My own toon's name is not listed

For example, recently at peak times (during siege) I might see under 50 players of all classes total.
I know this to be false because there are more players in the single siege instance I'am participating in.

A few diagnostic observations

1. The players that are listed are heavily weighted to the highest levels (70+)
2. There are usually no warlocks or champions listed (possibly related to #1)

The inaccurate results makes it seem as if there are far fewer people online at any given time. Is this intentional? Or the way the Search function is supposed to behave? Has it always been this way? Perhaps I am using it improperly in some fashion.

Please post any additional information or suggestions that you may have.
