Quests bugged

I am one of those people who just love to follow the story line and do every quest available and get every title. I also like being number one in quests completed and titles received. However there seem to be several quests that are bugged as follows:

1 - Acceptance Bring Opportunity - websites says this is part of the magical reconsructuon quest chain but I cannot find it anywhere. When I check with Darius (questgiver) he does nto have it. I followed the quest chain back and have done all of them except this one. There is also a title for completing this one.

2 - Seasoned Adventurer - websites do not list it as a quest but title book says it is there and will receive title for completing.

3 - Dwarf area does not allow me to do the quests and get titles - I had someone open a portal to the new dwarf zone but was able to only do 12 quests. The rest are not available to do and there are several titles for completing them.

If anyone knows anything about these please let me know.

You're really not going to like this, but before you ever started in AKoR, Daris was willing to give you this quest:
  1. Simon Dibark sends you to Varanas to see Yarandor
  2. Yarandor sends you to the Class Hall but you are told that Daris wants to speak with you
  3. You *must* speak with Daris immediately to get the quest - she won't offer it later.
    You *must* make a donation to the Silvershadow Adventurer's Guild of 50,000 gold & she then offers you the quest.
  4. If you just follow the quest Yarandor gives you without talkiing to Daris, you miss the oppoortunity and get ported back to Dalanis then on to the Ancient Kingdom of Rorazan.

There's a thread on the EU forum where people are complaining of this 'bugged' quest, but I don't see how it can be bugged.

I mean, the previous quests tell you to talk to Daris, but people are ignoring the Opportunity or just aren't reading their quests properly.

I know this is not a situation many will like...

I also tried to do the new Dwarf area (Yrvandis Hollows) quests with my main character (level 72) and get just a dozen quests and no title. I guess the problem is that just after you complete the quest Awaken, Galis Faidley should give you Warm-up exercise. As he didn't all the other lines are blocked. Please, fix that so we can do the quests and get the title.

In regards to the dwarf starter area and quests blocked for humans/elves:

This is not a bug. Those quests are mainly (from the information I got) not depending on if you play a dwarf, human or elf, but if it is a new character playing. We have already forwarded the feedback that players feel at a disadvantage on their total quest count and titles by this. So, this means I can create a new Human or Elf character, Portal them through to Yrvandis Hollows and I should be able to do the quest lines without any problems?

Humans for example on first log in get asked if they want to do the tutorial. If they click yes and progress through it they receive a buff, if i recall right, same if they click no and bypass the tutorial, it just flags the tutorial as complete. This would flag the char in a way that some starting quests would not be available to him again, i.e. the tutorial. Elves were added lateron and I do remember that some crafting quests were unavailable here as well for humans for similar reasons. Now that dwarfs are added we again face similar limitations, although I am not sure if Elves and Humans are affected similar. I simply do not have enough information to go into confirmed details here, so please take this with a grain of salt. I have forwarded your feedback that you feel left out of some quests and titles due to that.

Basically that technical limitation is working as designed and boils down to some starting quests only being available to the race in which starting area they are in and thus it boils down to the fact that in the end, yes, some quests are limited to dwarf, elves, humans, female or male players.

And i think i just successfully confused myself ^^

Humans can easily do all of the Elven Island quests and Elves can easily access all of the Howling Mountains quests.
Dwarves can access all of the Howling Mountains & Elven Island quests but Humans & Elves are currently screwed when it comes to Yrvandis Hollows.

I look forward to this being corrected, preferably in this fashion:
  • Howling Mountain quests can only be accepted if you are a Human.
  • Elven Island quests can only be accepted if you have pointy ears;
    (Romulan or Vulcan)
  • Yrvandis Hollows quests can only be accepted if you are a Dwarf;
    (Ferengi)

The only exceptions I would make are Daily Quests, the "Legendary Sword" Epic started by Lola & the Fungus Cavern quests. Also, Cavern of Trials would have to be changed to a proper instance so that the title from Hungry Greyce could be obtained without the quest.

This would then make each individual species unique but the number of titles available from each starter zones quest lines would have to be made equal.

Anyway, thanks for taking our grumblings and forwarding them on, Dionaea. :)
