Vanish not working as stated.

I have checked this many many times. I hit Vanish and though it says I have left combat and have moved from the location where I aggroed the mob, I no longer go invisible. Also I have tested this with running some distance ahead of the mob and hitting Vanish. I get the text that I have left combat, but am not invisible and the mob continues to chase me. So for some reason this skill is no longer working.
