Problems with Warden changes.... They didn't take.

Ok, finished all the patching and loged onto my Warden. This is what I have found so far.

I am receiving no buff what so ever from having either of my pets out.

I am warden/druid so I found a small change not mentioned in the patch notes. My Dispell Curse which used to be cast from my nature crystal is now castable by me. Only problem is... It will not let me cast it even with Nature Crystal out.

Most of the tool tips on the skills have not changed. My Earth Essence still says it gives 740 earth dmg rather than the pitiful 100 that was mentioned in patch notes. Please do not change this ability. As a warden druid I am a support class so have to stat to heal. Earth Essence was my only savior for any DPS cause while I was healing, my staff swings were doing some actual dmg. No where close to anyone else, but because of how I stat to support, it made up for my weaker abilities.

Nature Crystal is not changed at all. There is no immunity, no speed increase, and I can still attack like normal.

So basically the only thing that has been changed with wardens is you guys broke our pets cause even the changes you said you made are not working as stated in patch notes and we can no longer use our older abilities to make up for it. All of our Pdef and Mdef is gone right now because the change to HotO worked, but the buff received by having certain pets out, is not working... ON ANY OF THEM.

Also, I see there was no consideration to the fact that some of the abilities that were changed, used to have training points applied to them. When they were made into passive abilities, all training points that were once applied to them, is now lost and are not refunded by the training point reset stone.

More bugs found.

Magical Control, the Warden/Druid elite is still in our skill book but the Spirit of the Oak does not have it in it's action bar, nor can it be placed there.

You have to constantly replace the abilities, Power of the Earth Spirit and Charged chop for them to properly work. I switched toons and came back to find "This ability cannot be used by current class combo" for Power of the Earth Spirit, and charged Chop would have the 2 sec cast time. Replacing them fixed the issue but when I switched again, I had to reset those skills.

May just be a Wd/D bug... pet's passive abilities work for me on both Wd/S and Wd/M. I can see my crit increase on the status tab (C) when I summon Walker, and my Pdef increases when I summon Oak. I can't see whether my Crystal grants the additional movement speed (needs testing), but for now I'll assume that it works for me as well.

Well, I'm a Wd/S and the Centaur keeps getting stuck if im not up close to the target to attack, also when i summon the pets it does not give me the buffs besides the Nature Crystal Speed buff.
Sorry did not know the did a quick overnight thing to adjust the stuff.

That is very odd, because I sat there with my character screen open while I was summoning my pets. I checked everything and nothing changed. Also with the Nature Crystal not granting any immunity at all, I doubt thee is any speed boost, and you can still attack while it is out.

Am going to have to take another look at this after running this emergency patch.. Guess its time to walk to SubWay while I am patching. See you all later.

Ok so I see the buffs are now taking affect. However.....
The Warden/Druid elite ability Magical Control still is not being added to the Spirit of the Oak's action bar nor can it be placed there from the spell book so is still non functional.

I hope this was intended, but my Warden/Druid elite Earth Spirit Essence is still factoring in the earth dmg upgrade. Thanks for not nerfing that ability to nothing by changing it to a flat 100 earth DMG. PLS PLS PLS Leave it as is so I can still use my staff for the heal bonus to recover and actually make up for the lost pdmg by giving my normal attacks mdmg.

I still have to take a look and see if the two pet spells now work on both pet and master, because as of pre emergency patch, they did not.

how odd, I presumed heart of the oak was broken for everyone and it appears not. On my wd/s it is not increasing my pdef or altering my parry at all, it does nothing, nature crystal also not doing as described in tooltip, I am not immune and I can attack however periodically as I attack it says something like "Makes the target temporarily immune" or similar to that anyway, but I can see no buffs on me, pet or target :$

When I first summoned my Spirit of the Oak, I didn't get the Pdef buff, but after I summoned another pet and then resummoned the Oak, it worked. However I do not know about the parry because I didn't think to look at that.

But the way Nature Crystal is working, I cannot tell if there is a run speed increase and there is no immunity other than the normal casted absorption buff. You can also still use attack abilities. I don't know if they are just rethinking how to make this pet work or what, but the patch note is not how the pet is acting at all. I have to admit, if it was an immunity as long as the pet was out, as a warden/druid, I could sit in siege and just cast recover on my guild mates and never work about be taken down. So that sounds a little OP. Maybe they understand this and we will see something new come next maintenance.

Forgot to mention, I tested Connection and it is now working. Thanks for the change to that ability. It is wonderful now that it works on me and my pets.

The description in the Nature Crystal tooltip is poorly worded. I remember it was worded the same way when wardens got their Ch.4 overhaul. Basically, what it should say is "Nature Crystal is immune, but cannot attack" rather than "you." In other words, the only thing that changed for the Crystal in this patch is the additional movement speed.

The WRDN/DR lvl 20 elite, Control Magic, is no longer working. It is still just sitting in our skill book, not showing up on our Spirit of the Oak pet, and cannot be placed into an action bar.

Something you could do to fix this and make any other wrdn/druid very happy is to swap the taunt you have given us at lvl 50 with this lvl 20 useless elite. Then give us back our Crystal heal and allow heal bonus, mdmg, or at least something factor into how much it heals over time. Put it to the same factors being used by our Elite upgraded Charged Chop.

The reason I say replace the Spirit of the Oak's Control Magic with the taunt is because most wrdn/dr do not ever use Spirit of the Oak now that it has been changed to increase the pet owner's aggro. I may use it to solo but I still find it more useful to use Nature Crystal for the buffs. But Spirit of the Oak will be being used by someone who intended to tank, so they would be using the taunt.

This game had always put us in a role of buffing and side healing. To take one of our heals and turn it into a taunt, that has to be a bug. (a bug that crawled up someone's -I better not finish that statement)Sure we could be stated to work as a tank and a taunt could come in handy, but as we who have stated to make the most of the role of buffer and side healer, taking a heal away, rather than fixing it, and giving us a taunt is just another way to get us dead in an instance.

I almost jumped oput of my chair i was so excited lol but now i see your talkin about spirit of the oak so i fail. :P
