Yet another Warden Bug!

The warden pet Spirit of the Oak is no longer sacrificing itself to replenish it's master's HP. This has always been a function of the Spirit of the Oak pet and had a timed effect so that it would not benefit from this in a set period of time. However the pet is no longer sacrificing itself and is letting it's master die.

There were some changes made to wardens in the Colorweave festival patch 5.0.1

Those patch notes do not say anything about the Spirit of the Oak no longer sacrificing its life to replenish its master's HP when they drop to 20%. I know if it still did this you would loose your Pdef you get for having the pet out, but when soloing, that extra life, so to speak, is all you need to finish off that last add. To no longer have that sacrifice, to me must have been a bug caused by the change to how the pets now buff while out, so needs to be looked into.

It doesn't?

Quoted

summon spirit of the oak: The skill description reads now: Summons a spirit of the oak to assist you. While in effect, it will increase your physical defense and parry rate by 20%.

It never originally stated its effect to sacrifice itself. When I first started playing I never understood where these extra HP came from or the debuff I would get until I actually saw it sacrifice itself. So the tool tip only changed to show the buff you receive while the pet is out. So if this was removed there is no mention of it in the patch notes.
