Why not just do Extinguish the Flames? Same xp/tp, not quite as fast for the daily but still much faster than Butterflies.

Yes, I saw Demonstration Battle being botted for the event on Ch1, swapped to CH2 but it had a line of people waiting a turn. I logged out for 10 minutes, returned on Ch1 to find the botter gone & the daily & event broken. It was broken on both channels by then so I've done Extinguish the Flames since.

Think i havent activate the "Extinguish the Flames" quest yet and I do not wish so as my char already lv 72 so I want to save up the quest for later lvling up.

I suggest to remove the quest Demonstration battle from EOJ quest list so that people will not have any reason to macro or bot for the quest.

I strongly disagree I Believe it is a good way to obtain EOJ. I suggest that they fix it rather then remove it "sir".

Then let us also remove the daily for guard dog meat, that is the most botted daily in the game plus those botters take away a good way for mid-low lv players to make gold. Honestly people bot everything and will move on to botting the next best thing. And i have no i dea what u think is wrong with using with macros...which are built into the game. Ive been using dailynotes since early ch3 for every daily i do because it's honestly annoying and slow to have to click the same accept/complete button 10+ times.

I didnt say there is anything wrong with macro a quest and what I suggest is to remove the quest from EOJ quest line so that other players can still do the quest for their dailies.

It looks to me like the quest is being restarted to fast when macroed.
Adding a small delay between the end of the quest & when it can be restarted may stop it breaking.

@Quaffy, yeah I know it can be raided but that is not the point here. Besides, it may well have had a raid on Ch2 & with the way it works that could have been what broke it on Ch2.

We actually Have a STRONG indication that when the mob Is t-stormed spammed it breaks. Not the fault of an addon/macro.

Channel 2 is still broken and channel 1 is working now but like hell someone park 4 characters over there with 1 using magablade and one iceblade immediately while one dwarf trigger the quest.

Soon the quest will break again............

I've actually checked a few of these - it's a macro, not a bot, and everyone I've approached about it has responded and been an actual player.

While I can understand you may be upset to see the same people there after reporting them, in all the cases I've checked, their innocence was proven.

I'm sorry it's colored your impression of the support system, but I'd rather have that than ban innocent players.

Ok so if the player is there and using a macro which is now known to break the event, isn't that exploiting and also violating any "fair play" rules, it's a blatant disregard for the community. On both servers and channels I play these are broken and on one of them the same player who broke it before is standing around.

I can do another daily and be fine but when we see these players who we know are doing it and shrug it off or "lol!' "rofl!" as a response, it's just as bad, this isn't the type of playing I want to be a part of. We know it's wrong but it's ok to laugh it off while you ruin the gaming experience for others, you're so K3\/\/|_1. These players are just the lamest of the lame, can't farm their own points or effort. Just stand there and most are afk. If we had more effort put into the game it would transcend across the board and the quality of the players we have and get would increase drastically.

The support system is indeed bad but that is for another thread.

It is broke on both channel yet again on Osha this daily is being botted plain and simple because these players too lazy to move their characters. Just remove the daily and be done with it I frankly would rather see the daily removed then have players exploit it to further themselves.

Surely, it is better to keep the daily quest but remove the event quest?

Anyone else think that having 5000 Energy of Justice should should allow you to roll stats for less? I mean that's what the vendors make it sound like. Not having to get first place isn't enough of a incentive or benefit and not to mention the way ROM puts it is kinda misleading. Anyone else agree?

I think the real solution to this is make it so the quest only completes if YOU kill the mob. The way its going now, a lot of the time, if anyone kills the mob, then everyone gets credit for it

Sorta like how if anyone kills a butterfly in that daily's raid, everyone nearby gets credit for it...

I don't see what the problem is here tbh. It would be worse if one person could basically "lock down" the daily, allowing no one else could complete it because the other person always kills the mobs first.

Basically what is being described is a work around but not a fix to the problem itself. To fix the problem the quest/mob shouldnt crash in either mode, regardless of daily or EoJ status. It seems that if RoM's inherrent core programming bugs out if mobs are killed too quickly when they spawn, an easier fix could be to spawn it with a 1second immuned state. I would think that as long as it was targetable but could not be killed that would satisfy the spawn criteria. The other option would be to allow more than one of those mobs to be spawned simultaneously... Thereby allowing new mobs to keep spawning even if one bugs.

Ah sorry coming from a pvp server, I forget that if you have a problem with someone, not all the servers can just kill the person to get them to move/stop
