3 Playful Brothers Broken Again This Year

Richie III on OSHA appears to be bugged again on all 3 channels--he's nowhere to be found for 3 hours now.

There are probably 3 of them on Reni and they get to do that quest once on each channel without trading transport runes.

It was working this morning, and now I'm unable to find him. I've tried switching through every channel multiple times at all of his spawn locations, searching every hidden room and corner in the city. Someone said when they found him this morning he was in a really odd spot halfway into a tent where you could barely see him. I've looked, and can't get him to show up.

Seriously, if this quest isn't going to function as normal, can't you just take it out?

afaik it's the only way to get the storytelling troupe helper titles for this event.

The same thing happened last year. They fixed it finally.

The Varanas Richie is still missing on Osha.

So for the second year in a row no title, hardly any packages.

How hard is it to fix this quest or remove it.

Or make it auto complete.

Whats the point of even having events if they dont work, it just pisses people off.

Same exact quest broken as last year, in the EXACT same way. Richie III. You had a year to fix it and you still put it in broken. Honestly Gameforge... get your act together. It's not that i'm really surprised, but seriously?

There's 4 other quests from this NPC. There is no reason why they couldn't take the Richie quest out of his pool of possible quests so no one gets stuck with a bugged quest that they can't reset.

Luckily I spammed the NPC early on to get a pet crystal, but I won't be able to upgrade my adult Leo to legendary if I get stuck with this quest often. I feel bad for people that are still trying to get the zodiac pet...if they're unlucky, they'll be stuck with this quest often. And if anyone is using guild castle transport runes to reset Reginald, those runes may go completely to waste if you end up with the Richies after a reset.

Yesterday saw someone in World shout that they are offering 1 mil to anyone who can find them a particular Richie, because he checked all locations on all channels and Richie was definitely absolutely not there to be found.

Someone collected that mil.

Today I was in same boat. Checked every place in every channel. No Richie III to be found anywhere. Was going to see if I can get someone to hunt him for the same reward, but then run Course of Terror, checked again, and saved myself a mil. The "impossible to find" Richie was standing there.

They are hard to find, sure, but persistence pays off. Last year my 14-days sequence had 3 of those quests, and did not get broken.

If anyone is screwed in this event, it is mages. Their title is difficult, very time consuming to complete, and they can do everything perfectly right and still not be able to get it.

Hehe. My physical characters are almost finished with the titles to get that and one of them finally finished it just today.

My casters are nowhere near getting it completed. :(

Worked just fine until the patch, Richie II doesn't appear on Artemis server now.
I have checked all three channels and all five spots he can spawn, nothing no one has seen him at all today.

I was excited to see this event come back because I really wanted to obtain the physical dps title. Today I remembered why I didn't get the title last year. The Richies screwed me up then, and it looks like they're going to screw me up now as well. I can't properly express how disappointed I am, not only in the broken event, but in the fact that they had a year to fix said broken event and we're having the same issues we had last year.

Please, oh please, just take the quest out of the rotation. Force spawning the Richies really doesn't work. Last year they would just break again after a force spawn. Since it appears nothing has been done to fix the Richie problem, so I assume that force spawning will not help most players get the title they're after.

Other than the Richie issue, I think the rest of the event is turning out to be a huge success. The fairy dragon and the stage acting are both quite fun.

Please fix, or better yet, REMOVE the Richies!

I'm curious why it seems to be broken on other servers, but on Reni the quest works just fine. I did over 100 resets of that quest today, any 40-50% of them were the richie quests, and not a single one was bugged.

What causes it to bug on some servers and not others?

So yeah, Govinda as well. Just broke my chain on two characters today because I couldn't complete this quest. How incompetent do these people have to be to be unable to properly spawn a mob in their own game?

Well Sunday on Reni it appears that Richie II is not spawning. Can find I n III but no II. There has been several of us looking for the last few hours. ( 12noon EST till 4pm EST )

2 has been by far the worst for me in this event. I've done over 100 resets of that quest and have always had the most trouble with II. It seems the best answer is just keep looking for it. >.< I did the richie quest over 10 times this morning and it DID work, it just took forever.

I can 100% tell you that neither Richie I, II, or III exist on the Artemis server. There has been a server wide amber alert, but we fear their kidnappers have already disposed of them.
