Main quest line still broken at Sanctuary

This was broken for me before the latest patch, I was hoping it would be fixed but has not.

My last quest was called First Meeting I believe, had to talk to 3 people at the Sanctuary of Balance. First two, no problem, 2/3 of my quest was green. After talking to the 3rd person it did not complete, but all the NPCS changed like the quest was going forward. However, nothing happened, all the NPCs could no longer be talked too, and they all simply stood around doing nothing. Tried dropping the quest, nothing changed and was unable to log it again. Two of the channels had them all just standing around, and a 3rd channel had no one there at all.

Now today I went there again, not a single NPC anywhere on all 3 channels. I'm in limbo now, no one to talk to to pick up a quest!

Ok I fixed it. You have to drop the quest if you haven't already. Then kill yourself. (not kidding). The quest will reset and you should be good to go.
