chrysalia quest bug?

My guildie, Andrewsoul, has a unnamed debuff. It looks like a voodoo doll skipping around his toon. He cannot move, use a mount, any skills/pots, transport, or be hurt in duels. Ive had him check his quest log, backpack for anything that could clean the debuff and sent druids and priests to try to clean it, nothings worked.. he decided to abandoned all his quests in case it was a quest issue and now his log is empty, so if it was a quest issue, now what? I also had him send in multiple support tickets and they responded by saying that they don't give out game tips.. Well, he's been stuck at a chrysalia rez spot over a month now and he hasn't been able to do anything. Does anyone have any tips for me?

This has occurred to some players in the past - the debuff is placed on players due to a quest, and is supposed to expire at the end of a short time. in a small percentage of cases, the debuff does not expire.

Try having him activate PK mode and killing him, if possible - his character's death should remove the debuff. If not, have him reply back to the ticket he put in or submit a new ticket. :)

ok, got logged in finally. The other thing which may or may not shed some light is that I can use my transport book, just not home sweet home or guild transport stone. I presume because the latter requires use of an item whereas transport is straight from the book.
