Sardo Castle First boss refused to fight

Went to Sardo Castle the other week. Granted it was an overkill party 4 level 77's and 1 level 75. Surprisingly that party makeup could not aggro first boss at all to start the fight. Even using housemaid pots Fullness and crazy breakout right underneath the boss to get level with him failed to start the fight. R/S substitute was tried and failed. Finally one member of party swapped to his third class a level 25. Boss triggered then. A fix needs to be made for either aggro generation from boss or in other terms a pressure point on floor. That way when you cross the door's threshold, the fight will trigger for higher levels.

Did ya's try to get into Cannon and fire at him to see if it was Aggro before the Under lvl 70 toon aggro'd?

lol you're not supposed to aggro first boss... you're supposed to get bombs from barrels, then shoot bombs at him with the 3 catapults.

If you somehow aggro'd the first boss... you deserve a nobel prize.

If you're having trouble triggering the fight, you could bring a mage and have him start the fight in the same fasion I did.

The whole fight starts when you enter door. The bug is we all entered door nothing happened period. no mobs pile of flames in the floor, no barrels to kill to get bombs. Thats what i meant by boss didn't aggro. Catapults can't be activated till event starts couldn't click em. even going to door that opens after you kill boss didn't trigger it.

This is much the same as DL last boss....many times have i been dancing on the edge of that pit and still he wouldn't take any notice D:

Aggro mechanisms in this game are so flawed lol.

How is this not a bug?

We had 3 level 80's enter and also could not start the first boss. He just looked at us. He clearly does not agro off of people above a certain level. Do we need to bring a sacrificial lowbie or mage/warden to run this instance?

This is clearly a bug.

I don't support 1 Server. I just like the Anagram - GOAT GRIP!
