Yet another Rogue/Priest Issue. Though it may also happen on all rogues.

Title: Yet another Rogue/Priest Issue. Though it may also happen on all rogues.

Description:

Sneak attack does not always register the damage when it hits. (I would test this on Blind Spot also but my blind spot is unusable atm thanks to the other famous r/p bug). This is NOT a MISS if it was a miss there would be no bleed on the boss which there is, but the main damage that its supposed to do on the boss does not always happen when it does hit. The frequency of this is somewhat rare so in testing you may have to run it a lot before you notice it. That being said it happens to me more than enough times that I notice it.

comments:

so from this picture what I can see is that the sneak attack is being parried by the boss. I don't know a whole lot about the effect of parry but to parry a 1.2m ish hit by 1m damage to the effect of 175k for the hit seems kind of a little overdone. But even so if that is the case there still no record of the 175k actually hitting the boss. You can see that there is bleed damage but no actual sneak attack damage. After I noticed this effect I purposely stopped dpsing the boss to hard and did not apply another sneak attack on purpose so I could use this as a picture for this 'bug report. Maybe its a scrut thing maybe it not a rom bug, or maybe it is a rom bug I don't know. I m just passing the info on.

idk if the following can help on the report, just mentioning:

- how do u check if the skill hits/misses etc? if the bleed is put on the target, then combat log should say "something", like sneak attack >> xxx dmg or miss or dodged etc. how is this dmg registeredi in scrutinizer? do u see it being activated? is it registered as miss / dodge / hit for zero dmg?

- as a r/wd i use sneak attack at 99% of my opening in sw. i have never encountered such a "bug". so maybe is r/p specific or applied to non-player targets

- this might seem/be offtopic but is worth to refer since is about the bleeds-issue. recently the "refreshing" of bleeds has been ninja-changed. as follows:
(a)before: if target had a bleed from u (SS/SA/BS) and u hit another bleed-skill (SS/SA/BS), then the bleed timer was reseted to the last used skill and the bleed-dmg was also changed accordingly. so for example if u have used BS and there were 2sec left on the bleed, and used SS, then the bleed timer was refreshed to SS timer (10s) along with the corresponding SS-bleed dmg
(b)now: when the target has bleed and u activate another or same bleed-skill, the timer does not change, nor the dmg. so in the previous example, after u hit SS, the BS bleed stays on the target and disappears after 2secs, leaving the target without bleed, even though u have hit SS 2secs earlier.

The above holds for any rotation between the bleed-skills. eg BS >> SS, SS> BS, etc. it always stays the initial bleed until it fully expires. The observation/tests were made last time about 1 month ago so idk if it got ninja-re-fixed back to how it used to work, havent tested recently again. On topic, does this bleed-issue has to do with ur problem?

Cheers, Fin

I think thats a scruitinzier Problem:
If enemy parry it's often missing in it.
