Runes of Magic US / AU

I have 260-320 ping to the US servers, it makes this as difficult as you can get IMO, I have completed it once on one toon, but it did take 3 days and many hours per day. The quest is not design for high ping nor people with colour problems. Its should be modified, like longer time to respond, and colour messages on screen at least.

When I DO get the correct color it tells me "target is too far away". I have stood in front of the tablet, next to the tablet, behind the tablet, up against the statue- I have run it standing in at least 20 different spots since I started getting that error. Always the same response no matter where it is. Also, sometimes I get a little "shepherd hook" pointer, most of the time I don't. I am submitting a ticket to GF. If they don't/can't give me some sort of skip on it, I may have to go try some other game for a while.

Try making sure you have nothing targeted.

Tried this for hours already with no avail. It just gives you success at random. I came up to 9 hits in a row (which is a big effort in itself!), but even that is not enough and it just cancels.

Support just answers you to ask within the game. Autocomplete will not be done, since that would be unfair to those that had the luck to pass this brainwashing quest.

This really needs some adjusting; otherwise I seriously consider quitting this game.

I have also wasted hours trying unsuccessfully to complete this quest. They could have at least made it auto-complete during the event this weekend. It is very frustrating to get stuck on it during the xp event and now have no choice but to waste money on daily resets if I want to level up, but I guess thats what GF wants.

Huh? New zone is available without completing this quest or others in Kashay. My alt questline is in Hortek, she had no problem with getting Stillwater questine activated.

That may be true. But this q is part of Morrok-line which provides by far the most progression. Getting stuck here only leaves you a few minor lines which are done in little time and leaves you without hardly any progression.

That may be true. But this q is part of Morrok-line which provides by far the most progression. Getting stuck here only leaves you a few minor lines which are done in little time and leaves you without hardly any progression.

If you are at that point when you need that quest, you are halfway done with Kashay. Yes, you miss the quests post-that one and anything unlocked by questline. So, without it, a chunk of XP is lost. But, it is not a huge chunk, because it is the last zone for Morrok/Toni line. Next zone questline is independent and available even if you are stuck at this quest.

Don't take me wrong, I myself hate this quest with the passion. It is the worst designed main questline chain, making Panilor armor quest to the second-worst. But, it doesn't lock you out of that much XP and it doesn't lock you out of the Stillwater main chain.

Yep - this quest was the last straw for me. I had hoped that this quest would have been changed. Gave away over 100 poms since I doubt that I ever will be back.

With lag this quest is impossible! They should slow it down a great deal, like 5 seconds per color.
