Some DOTs in the new zone hit for 90k?

Anyone else notice that some DOTs in the new zone hit for obscenely high damage? One quest mob and a poisoned scorpions hit me for 90K a pop. Needless to say, I don't last long against them. Bug?

I'm guessing they got a digit wrong. These bleeds don't hit for 90k/s, but instead hit for 66%/s. On the bright side, if you have an absorb (such as the mage electrostatic charge), the bleed will not go on you.

Yes, it is a bug. Scorpions usually hit for 2-3k and then can 2-hit you. Bankha Pafh, I presume, is NPC that OP refers to, is also putting bleeds that 2-hit you.

I presume they'll be adjusted in upcoming patch, but like diggers in Sarlo, it might take a few months. But then they are quite a bit worse than diggers, so maybe fixed sooner.

Well just use healing pots or have a healer on follow. Could also be to prevent undergear alts to be able to be put on follow to XP/TP :lol:

Zid, only a priest could possibly keep up with healing someone. And that's only of the person has incredibly low hp (dps char), because the dot hits every single second for 66% hp. You should go with a healer and use pots before suggesting this. It just won't happen.

If you have mage or /mage, Silence works on alot of the % DoTs... was too scared to try it on scorpions, so I just killed em at range.

I've noticed the scorpion mobs seem bugged in terms of high damage to players as well. However, that is the only one that seems out of the ordinary. What other mobs are you referring to?
M (100), P (100), W (100), K (100), S (100), R (100) --> order of previously being active

There is an npc for a quest that you talk to and he turns red and attacks you. There are two in total, and one does the same dot as the scorpions. 66% every second.

the scorpions 2hit atrie in shield form ... wasnt buffed but still had 240k hp at time 1st hit 140k.

Yea, their dot is 66% every second. (and yes, I got myself killed multiple times after the first time to find out the exact details of the bleed, cause... well... I already had debt xD lol)
