Wishing Well quests

Title: Wishing Well quest

Description: There is a quest giver in Obsidian, but no way to complete it. Can we turn off the "!" or turn on the quest, pretty please?

they changed CV back to the old opening method.

this means the wishing well quests can only be completed at a certain stage(first stage is wishing well i believe).

still a pain, but not impossible.

can u elaborate on this? cause i think that some of the wishing well quests r not possible to be completed these days

not 100% sure on every single one of the quests, but on the US servers, at least for a while, they put CV back to the original opening method (donations, monstrosities, etc. the whole 9 yards). I assume that all of the original CV quests are now functioning again, just phase dependent. for example, wishing well quests can only be completed when it's at the donation phase iirc.

incredibly frustrating imo, as there is little to no documentation, and the ingame clues are vague at best. i would find somebody who is quite knowledgeable about the whole process and ask them if you have further questions (rustyx knows quite a bit about it afaik).


that being said, i noticed they keep messing around with the halls being open/closed/phase_x, and i don't know if they have done the same with CV. if so, it would make completing the earlier phase quests quite difficult.

I don't think the Well quest has anything to do with Chaos Vortex itself. It completes outside, with the npc waving at the port. There used to be an npc (or two?) in east varanas who offered a daily WW quest too, with a nice gift as reward.

wishing well == CV phase 1.

you can only complete the wishing well quests when CV is closed, as the wishing well is that fountain where the instance is. the instance portal replaces the wishing well once the phases advance.

If it's true you can only access the well when the Vortex is closed.... then, it seems that it's been open for the last two years, or more? What needs to be done to close it?

a couple months ago it stopped being perma open. not many people noticed, and i know i was quite confused at first (couldn't get my aggs, whole world breaking apart, sky falling down, etc, etc).

try right after a maintenance. unless they changed it back to perma open, it *should* be closed then.

i really hope they didn't put it back to perma open....
