Runes of Magic US / AU

A lot..most...all...stuns roots etc, do not work on bosses.

Electrocution skill applies 3 effects on a target:
1. does damage on target
2. interrupts casting of target
3. leaves a debuff on the target

The Ch/W elite leaves the debuff on the target so u can use certain skills after that require the target to be electrocuted, like energy influx strike guaranteed critical or 25-rage-gain of arc strike.
Using Slash will not make any damage, nor will interrupt any cast, but will leave the debuff on target so u can use any other skill that require that debuff or provide effects if target has debuff.

@ Auros: Almost all stuns/interrupts work as interrupts on bosses. They never stun the boss, but they interrupt their casts.

if u use pure-skill Electrocution it should work as interrupt
if u use Slash to cause interrupt u wont succeed cause Slash only leaves the debuff for Arc-strike or energy influx strike
