Rogue/Champion 70 Elite

Title: Rogue/Champion 70 Elite

Description: The rogue/champion 70 elite, "Electrocution Mechanism", does not appear to do the damage it should. The skill says 500% damage per second to a maximum of 3 targets in range of 60. Tested on lv1 mobs in howling mountains, does ~33k damage per proc, while shadowstab (lv90) (511% + .2x dex) does ~234k damage. The damage does not differ, whether it's hitting 3 mobs at once or just one. The class desperately needs this fixed to have any shot at being competitive with other rogues and dps combos. It's a potential 35%+ increase on dps or more as far as I can tell, if it were working.

Server: Reni but i'm fairly confident this is irrelevant.

...this has been broken ever since I got the elite, nearly a year ago maybe. I looked for some evidence this has been reported but wasn't able to find any. Odd, considering how many champ/rogue people are out there with lv70+ secondaries.

... and I won't get into my typical rant about how the defense reduce elite triggers gcd and only lasts 3sec, or the two absolutely useless speed reduce/increase elites, or how nearly every r/wl elite is broken in some way... but suffice it to say r/c and r/wl need some fixing.

r/wl is not broken. It can be played as both magical or physical dps class.
- as a physical dps he has 2 focus-based filler skills, but nothing of much interest other than that
- as a magical dps is similar to a magical-based r/m, or lets say a w/m-like rogue and is quite interesting to invest

i havent seen any "broken" skills in that combo

15/20/40/60 -- prevent you from using hide (not sure if these are really broken, but if they aren't then that is a very unnecessary nerf)
25/50 -- can be parried when they shouldn't be able to (already reported by someone else)
35 -- 2% def reduce flat, not worth using atm, should (imo) increase with skill level so it is maybe 8-10% at lv90
45 -- does awful damage, should (imo) work similar to the r/m version, albeit maybe tuned down a bit

and as for the magical dps thing, while it looks like it might work on paper, it absolutely doesn't in practice. even in full mage gear the hits from the 45 elite don't even equal your white hit damage.

- i cant comment on the skills that "break" hide, but am sure is not that game-breaking, even in sw
- the 2 focus-based filler skills r based on ur patt/pdmg but the final output is magical, meaning that it needs serenstum to be immuned as an example. is exactly same as holy strike, frantic briar, untamable and many many more that is no need to enumerate. i assume that this issue (not a r/wl issue but a GAME issue) will be fixed by 2020.
- yes the 2% def reduction is minimal but this isnt a bug.
- the r/wl white hits work well on mage-gear + 2 MAGIC daggers. is u do ur tests on physical-based gear or with sandos daggers then u r doing wrong. get the best magical-based daggers x2, full mage gear and enjoy. dont forget also the +50% dark dmg elite. it should be counted on if u want to evaluate its boss-fight performance
