Rune Guardian ISS

Title: Rune Guardian - Champion Item-Set Skill

Description: The skill reads- Sacrifice 50.0% HP to create a shield that protects your party members for 5.0 seconds. Firstly I think this is a little vague as it does not state what the shield does...

But that's not the problem. The skill reduces damage correctly by 50% when used alone, however it's interaction with other damage reducing effects is what is not quite right about it. Below will be a list of multiple champion, and other class' damage reducing skills that are all added to each others effect. Where as Rune Guardian is multiplied into these effect, meaning when other damage reduction effect are used, it's effect becomes much less relevant.

For a 5 minute cooldown skill with a 50% hp cost, you kind of want it doing what it states. I'm just reporting this because I don't see why it is calculated differently than every other damage reducing skill I can think of. My first though is maybe because it is an Item-Set skill, however so is the Priest's Holy Candle Shield, which is added properly and not multiplied in.

BELOW ARE ONLY FACTS LISTED TO ASSIST WITH THE DEFINING AND FIXING OF THIS BUG.

Aditional Info/Research: Firstly I'll list the test numbers I got show that it is not added on top of other damage reduction skills-


Test 1: 222k dmg hit -- with passive 5% dmg reduce (Keen Will - Scout)


Test 2: 1 dmg hit -- with 5% (Keen Will), 20% (Elven Amulet - Warden), 35% (Arrow Shield - Scout), 40% (Key Rescue - Champion)


Test 3: 35k dmg hit -- with 5% (Keen Will), 20% (Elven Amulet), 35% (Arrow Shield), 50% (Rune Guardian - Champion)


Notice in test 2, the total damage reduction adds up to 100% properly reducing the damage to 1. However in test 3, the reduction *should* add up to 110%, however the damage done still shows otherwise. It was also tested with only 5% + 20% + 50%, however the damage was not reduced by 75%, but rather closer to 40% total.


I have tested all of the champion skills damage reducing skills and how they act with each other, and all except Rune Guardian, are properly added on top of each other to reduce the damage.
