Quests not showing on map

Title:

Description:the quests in the new zone split water coast are showing up on the minimap, but nothing is showing up on the main map for quests. Is anyone else having this problem?

Are you using an addon that modifies the main map? If so, remove it and see if it fixes the issue.

Removed all addons, still not showing up.

I have the same problem. Tried removing all of my addons, and still nothing shows.

I think you can work around it for now by selecting "Draw all Quest-Icons," if you have wowmap.

it only half works, still doesnt show up most quests.

So much for "The patch is being quality tested". Did they just not open their maps?

Quest icons not showing up, instance not open, why exactly did we need a new patch again? Classic release of broken content too early.

Well I assumed the instance wouldn't be open. It's been that way since grotto or even before. The icon on map probably didn't even seem like a possibility to be broken so try didn't check. No big deal, but we would still like it fixed soon :D

It's a weird issue because some quests will show once completed (the ones that require you to go to a different person than the one who gave you a quest). Otherwise, I'm just using the minimap or staying in fps view and running around like a fool 1 and 2 shotting all the mobs.

Sadly, us knights don't all have the luxury of 1 and 2 shotting all of the mobs in the zone derping our way around Willie nillie :(

Er... the first zone to be released without its' instance was Silverspring. Forsaken Abbey was added in a little later.

As mentioned by Cybernetic, wowmaps "Draw all Quest-Icons" option puts all quest on map. Unfortunately, addon doesn't know about public quests, so as soon as public quest is unlocked, it puts ! on NPC. Have to do public quest to get rid of that ! marker.

Not ideal workaround, but a workaround.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

I don't know why this hasn't been reported yet. The 'wowmaps-draw all quest icons idea' still doesn't show all the quests. For example, "demonstration battle" in ancient kingdom of rorazan doesn't show, so if one quest doesn't show then it's likely others also are not appearing that we don't know about.

Not sure if its my add-on that allows it, but I can open map, and on top right click setup then "show all quest icons" and then they show up. You can try that and see if it works for you.
