Description:Crafted level 95 shield once crafted are Bound and not Bind when equipped, same bug since level 80. Just letting you know so it can be fixed tyvm

Can I also tack on that I've crafted both the Staff and Mage gloves and neither are giving appropriate stats on them as the "of bones" stat. I'm not sure if that is a bug but they no longer give "compliment" matk/hp or "demon" int/matk stats anymore.

They instead give:
Justice of bones (Dex/ mdef)
Sea of bones (mdef/hp)
Mystery of bones (hp/pdef)
Power of Bones (Stren/dex)

which is more like what comes on leather items.

The demon int/matk stat is not a bug. When it was appearing on crafted items was a bug. They fixed that bug for the lvl 95 and greater items. Not too sure about the matk/hp stat.

Well Nuethil it is borked as i can get the stam/def, we had the same situation at every new level cap raise on crafted gear. Don't worry about people who tell you different, when they patch it to fix the bound upon crafted gear, that will also be fixed, like at every level cap they fixed it. Just put your mats away till they fix it and be patient :beer: :beer:

Heres to when they patch it... they remove any chance of a good stat coming from crafted gear! yay!.

Do you have a source for that? Crafted items give easy mode stats. Int/ma is an easy mode stat.

@ borella: int/MA should never have been an easymode stat. they switched the attributes on demon and illusion stats one patch, but never changed the drop source (thus, the HM stat of int/MA started dropping on easy/crafted under the opposite stat name). the lvl 95 cap simply reverses the change, but it is not retroactive (you still get int/MA on lvl =< 92 crafted/easy gear).

Regardless of the Good stats being on crafted gear, the important thing here is that the Shield and Tali become Made to be "bind on equip" when crafted please! :D

WEll Cike at level 80 we were getting Illusion of the mist as Int/MA then at level 87 they were back with Demon of pillars. Those stats were meant to be that way, the costs for making them, mats needed and crafting levels is tremendous + the RAE and puri to get them off. People are jealous that crafters can get them and people would much prefer pay 40M a stat from only people running the hardmode instances. At least these kept prices reasonable for the community as a whole.



They should make str/patk, dex/patk, stam/patk drop on respective crafted gear, good business decision had the number of RAE's and puri being sold and helping the community as a whole. It's not like we get one of those on every item crafted like most people think.

I would think that it was a reward to the crafters since for 4 years we had nothing of value to craft, for all the time and effort to level them + back in the day you could only have one craft per toon at max. so you needed 1 toon for each herbs/wood/ore, then one toon for each of the crating skills.

because they made int/mdef a hardmode stat while taking int/MA out of the pool.

it doesn't fit in with the rest of the hardmode stats (dex/PA, str/PA). if int/MA was truly meant to be a easymode/crafted stat, why only int/MA? why not change all the most-used stats? are mages and warlocks special?

the original change (int/MA to an easymode stat) was (supposed to be) a 2 part stat change to return "illusion" back to the original int/mdef attributes (switch the attributes, then correct the loot tables to reflect the updated attributes). they only got halfway there all those caps ago. the lvl 95 cap completes the transition moving forward.

there was a hiccup in stat progression/naming/attributes, and has been resolved. end of story.



to address your final comment, who are you to judge that bound crafted gear is a bug?

at least come up with some arguments that can't be applied to your own points please.

i also seem to remember crafting costs being reduced, and now crafted gear is part of the normal mode sets. is that not an upgrade? heck, some pieces are nearly BiS.

if the "crafting upgrade" you mention was to change crafting stat pools, then why only int/MA? it's been more than a few caps, with int/MA continuing to be the only one of the big 3 attack stats that made it on to crafted and easymode gear.

plus, this isn't /only/ crafted. it is the instance loot tables as well. it is not a crafting-exclusive change. if it was, your arguments about crafting might have some merit, but the fact that int/MA and int/mdef switched places in /all/ loot tables nearly guarentees that this is not just a crafting issue. yes, crafting might have gotten large benefit from the change, but you cannot ignore the fact that crafting is minority of the loot pools affected.

simply adding the int/MA(and other desired stats) stat to crafting pools would have been fine, but taking it out of the HM stat pool is where they screwed the pooch.

it was not only int/MA either. when they were realligning the stat names, other attributes changed loot tables as well. int/stam and stam/def among them iirc.

i never said it can't be a HM stat (i even edited my previous post to reflect what i meant). i merely pointed out that they took int/MA out of the hardmode pool and substituted, for all intents and purposes, one of the least desired stats in it's place as a premium drop. i apologize for my unclear phrasing.

I'll place my bets on both of you being right. :) It shouldn't be bound, which really is pretty much a given, and the int/ma probably was 'misplaced' on crafted gear.

That being said, I'm with Tuulikki (in another thread) on this one about availability of stats.

Int/Matt removed from crafted items isn't so bad, with this patch you can get previous cap HM stats with mems, EOJ now gives HM stats on expensive items and if DB is right, 95 normal mode, all bosses drop HM stats now.

Not going to lie, I didn't read the whole back and forth debate on whether int/matk should stay or not. My only thought on the matter, do we really need another challenge to make it harder for people to gear?

But to refocus the point.... there are NO int stats on the mage cloth gear at all, you get dex stats which is the error I was trying to point out. No int/pdef, no int/wis, no matk/hp.

I also think they removed the option to get Sun stats (stam/matk) on plate? But I've only done about 30 crafts of plate so far so maybe I'm just unlucky.
