Vale of Rites Boss 2 Barrier sometimes does not deactivate after boss dies

Title: Vale of Rites Boss 2 Barrier sometimes does not deactivate after boss dies

Description: Both the entrance barrier and barrier blocking the way to boss 3 was still up after we killed the boss and looted it. Not sure what causes it, only happened to us once so far.

Server: Erebos, probably happens on all of them

Hey,

we are still looking into the cause of this bug.

Unfortunatly you have to restart the instance if this problem appears.

If you have more information about this matter please post it here, we are grateful for every possible cause of this bug.

The first time we fought the boss, party wiped but 2 people did not die and the boss de-aggro'd. Not sure if its because of that.

Just in case: Deleting the barriers is useless in this case - the instance script does not correctly recognize the death thus barrier or no barrier boss3 was always enraged in that situation.

Edit: First wipe on B2 today and barrier still did not drop.

did you still have had that bug the past week?

We didn't have the bug the past week as far as i know. It would be interesting if you still had the barrier problem and if yes, when did it appear or what happend when the barries stayed.

We had it happen last night, and we didn't even wipe.

Hey,

you could try one more thing.

From my own experience (experience from my guild, so no it is no official solution!!) , we never kill the boss if one of those three buffs are active on one of our groupmembers (target change, Severing Bomb, Foot Soldier of Perdition)

Since we do this, i can not remember that the barrier has been active after the boss was killed. Maybe you could try this?

so this has been working for us, past few times, we waited for no debuffs to be on to kill and barriers have gone away. so thanks!

It seems also that if foot soldier of perdition kills anything the boss bugs almost every time that occurs. I'm not holding my breath for a fix but it's gigantically annoying.
