fastest way to install ROM

Ello, long time poster but i have been in school the last couple of years so i have not had a chance to log in and play. I am curious, what is the fastest way to download and get going now days with ROM?

I do not have hte client anymore, new laptop..

Step one: get gamforge live

Step two: download it from there

Step three: move runes of magic fold in to program files x86

Step four: get rid of gameforge live

Side Note: there is no real way to download it fast it all depends on your pc and internet speed. once you get it if you would like to join a guild PM Countduke ingame and ill set you up with this supper fun guild. Have a nice day.

Fastest way is to manually download the files per the instructions given here installation issues

AWESOME. thats what i was hoping. the client seemed so slow to me haha

thanks. i hope to be playing by the weekend.

I noticed the us forums dont have the links anymore, so i am following that dudes signiture to the one site. Here is my question. am i downloading the client AND patches or just the 12.bin client files?

Just expect to spend a lot of time in the downloading. It is not unusual to go on for a full day or more. This is not a fast process. You have to be very patient. it will often look like it is locked up at a percent but it isn't. The screen will not change for an hour or more at a time then keep going. Just realize that it will not happen fast or maybe even today.

For some people. I just loaded the game on a new laptop yesterday, the full install through Gameforge took 4 hours. In the past, I have given up and gone to the manual download. I prefer the GF install for convenience, but understand that sometimes it is bogged down, and am glad that someone has sponsored a manual download of files if needed.
