Phirius Shells

I cannot purchase armor with my phirius shells. I've got 950 shells and enough gold, but it keeps saying that I have not met the requirements. It's been a couple of years since I've played, so am wondering if something has changed.

The NPCs are currently mis-coded, and are asking for shells instead of gold. We've reported it to gameforge, and haven't heard back on an ETA for a fix.
